We booked this excursion because we wanted to see more than just Marseille during our cruise stop. The pickup from the port was straightforward, and having transportation arranged made the morning much easier with the whole family. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the history without making it feel like a lecture. We especially enjoyed the time in Aix-en-Provence, where we could walk around at our own pace, see the old streets, and stop for a coffee. The driver was professional and the vehicle was comfortable. Getting back to the ship on time was obviously important to us, and everything ran according to schedule. Overall, it was a relaxed and well-organized day.

My partner and I wanted to make the most of our cruise stop and see somewhere beyond the immediate port area. The combination of Marseille and Aix-en-Provence sounded ideal, and it gave us a nice contrast between the two places. The day started smoothly with pickup at the cruise port. Our guide was personable and spoke excellent English, and we enjoyed hearing about local history and everyday life in Provence. The driving was comfortable, which was important because we wanted to spend our time enjoying the scenery rather than worrying about directions or parking. We particularly liked the time in Aix-en-Provence. It was nice having some freedom instead of being accompanied every minute. We wandered around the historic streets, found a quiet café, and took plenty of photos. The return to the ship was also well timed, which gave us peace of mind. It felt like a full day without being exhausting.

We were on a cruise and this tour operator canceled 24 hours and 40 minutes before the scheduledstart time due to insufficient participants. I know this is within TripAdvisor policy but this really destroyed our plans to see the main sights of the city, by canceling barely a day before we were supposed to take the tour. It should be THEIR policy to cancel much further in advance to give those they leave our to dry a fighting chance to find something else.

This was a wonderful experience of a lifetime especially with all that is going on in our world our students not only get to hear about history but also get to experience it in real life. I am so glad my child was able to go, and thankful to Mrs. Diana who made the family back home feel connected and included.

We had a great day! Our guide, Diana and our 2 drivers were fantastic! It was the last day of our vacation and our group of 10 was pretty tired out, but Diana made the day so enjoyable and fun that everyone perked up and loved the experience. If you only have a few hours to explore this is a great way to do it! We hit 5 ports over the week and a few of our group voted this as the best day/tour we had! Thanks to Diana for a great time.
