4/5 experience!! Must do!

Had a fabulous time with my son doing this cooking class!!! There’s a lot included in this: two drinks of your choice, a big ol salad, the ingredients needed to make the pizza and memories that will last you a lifetime!! We met some pretty cool people which made the experience even better. The only complaint was that they made you put name cards that had been in the table on top of your pizza. Prob not the most sanitary choice and it looks like they bake the pizza with the card on top of it. Also the pizza is not cooked throughout but it was totally worth the price and experience!!!

Pass

So dissappinting and misleading. I expected a real cooking class , we just assembled ingredients on a long table. THEY GIVE YOU THE REXIOE TO TAKE HOME BUT THE DOUGH IS NOT SALTY EBOUGH FOR ME AND THE ONUONS HAD A WEIRD SMELL AND YOU CANT ORDER ITALIAN SOFA AS ONE OF YOUR DRINKS BUT THEY ALLOW ALCOHOKIC DRINKS... THIS IS SUCH A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.they bake an index card with your name in the pizza... ick

Disappointing

The dough and sauce were already prepared and all that was needed to be done was assemble the pizza. They then take it for baking and bring it back plated. Not worth it.

Fun Family Activity

This is a great activity for kids on vacation. Good pace, lots of food for lunch or dinner. What would make this a 5 is if they added sausage to menu vs just pepperoni.

Not a cooking class

This was a personal pan pizza assembly experience, not a cooking class. It was incredibly crowded, and we didn't spend any time discussing how to prepare the dough. Might be fun for families with small children, but more as a craft activity.

Basically a build your own deep dish pizza. They don’t actually teach you but they do give you the recipe for everything to take with you. Overall it was still good and tasty!

Meh

The environment is ok. They have te ingredients pre set for you basically to just dump them into the dough that’s also already made for you. The guide was talking to just one table directly not focusing on my table so when she gave historical facts my table didn’t hear any of it. I went with family that only spoke Spanish and she saw me translating then she briefly used Spanish and didn’t try to continue to accommodate. I wouldn’t pay for this again. It’s too expensive for what you get.

Deeply disappointed!

I wanted to enjoy this experience, but it was a disappointment. You get two drinks, but it takes so long to get the first, there is no time for a second. One person at our table got her pizza as others were getting boxes to go. There was absolutely no info about the history/story of Chicago pizza - which I thought was a missed opportunity. Really it boils down to this was overbooked. Everything felt rushed and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Sad times.

Good experience that could have been a great experience.

The class was fun but not really what I expected. A tad pricey for a personal pizza (with veggies or pepperoni) and a glass of wine or a beer. It would have cost less to just dine in. The dough was pre-made, although a recipe was included. So it's not really a pizza "making" class but rather a pizza assembling class. Perhaps offer one class where dough can be made and allowed to ferment for use in the next class, just a suggestion. And allow participants to choose which class they'd like to take. I would have enjoyed a more hands-on experience better and maybe paid a little more. The toppings included veggies and pepperoni so don't expect to assemble a sausage pizza. That won't happen. The reason given was the Board of Health does not allow participants to handle raw pork. Not certain why since any food item can be handled safely - even pork. And gloves are provided. Even if this is true, it should not prevent staff from providing pre-formed, refrigerated pork patties for those who prefer sausage pizza. The Board of Health probably frowns on pork sitting out at room temp as the other ingredients were. Overall, it was still an enjoyable event and I'm happy to have had the experience.
