DDRミュージアム・ベルリン入場券

We really enjoyed our visit to the DDR museum. It was quite busy, but the flow of people kept moving. It seemed very popular with children. There was an attempt to 'chunk' information in blocks, to make it more manageable, but it was still quite difficult to take in all that was being taught. There were imaginative displays and many different ways of accessing information, but it was difficult to follow the story in a chronological way. Nevertheless, it was well worth the trip!

Good museum but seems like it could be a lot more. The constant opening doors to read the detail got boring and the bending to the bottom doors was annoying. Been in way better museums

It's a beautiful, wonderful place, I liked it.

I took a quick two-day trip to Berlin. The DDR Museum came up in local recommendations. I was 15 when the Berlin Wall fell, so I thought it was a good time to see the history I’d read about firsthand. What I liked most was the elevator ride into an East German home; it made it easy to visualize what everyday life was like. I’d recommend it even to those who aren't usually big fans of museums.

We enjoyed our visit to the DDR Museum. It was quite busy when we arrived, but it didn't cause a problem as people moved around quite quickly. There was lots of interaction with a range of displays with lift up flaps / doors to open, as well as a series of rooms made to look like a home from the DDR. My only grumble would be the length of the queue for the sit-in car experience. I think possibly the in car video / game experience was a bit long which meant waiting around for a while.

The museum was a nice combination of hands on and interactive displays as well as photographs with text.

Decent experience, lay out is interesting, lots to see, the DDr layout rooms are really good to look round, the exhibits are informative but some are a tad repetitive, the idea of opening drawers and doors to info is different, but when it's busy sometimes doesn't really work as you find yourself waiting or having to skip bits round people. Well priced and interesting tho!

Quite busy so difficult to use a lot of the interactive things. The interactivity was mostly pulling out drawers/ opening cupboards. The information was good and lots of information well put together. Enjoyed the short simulator drive in the car. Lots of exhibits but almost too much and too crammed together.

Great museum! Lots of hands-on exhibits. Gives you a feeling for what life was like under communism. There is even an apartment set up! The only criticism is that the building is too small and exhibits are too close together, but I loved it!

The DDR Museum offers visitors a true journey back to the time of the GDR and a total immersion in its environment. It explores the personal and professional lives of East German residents, as well as the political and military history of the GDR. The information is rich—perhaps a bit too much so, as there are no audio guides, only large panels to read in German or English. The big downside of the museum is its cluttered side: everything is topsy-turvy. You don't really know where to start, where to go, what to look at... It's a real shame, because you end up getting lost. Nevertheless, it is a museum that is worth the detour for anyone interested in the GDR, whether closely or remotely. A quick tip: opt for a visit at the end of the day, when the museum starts to empty out. Since the museum closes its doors at 8:00 PM during the summer, that leaves plenty of time.
