This tour was excellent! The tour is done in a small air-conditioned van so it was not too crowded. The air conditioning was very welcome since we did the tour in July. The tour guide told us many things about the places we were passing as we went to each place that we stopped. For each memorial and site that he brought us, he gave us the story about it and told us how best to access the places that we would want to see. He dropped us as close as he could and gave us 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the site. He was very flexible. Since we were quicker with some sites, he gave us longer with others and even added in a site not originally listed. There was also a link that we could listen to on our phones to hear more about the things that we were seeing in case we forgot what he said. It was a very good experience and I would definitely use this business again!

Our tour with Heart of DC Tours was one of the absolute highlights of our visit to Washington, DC. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organised, informative, and enjoyable. We visited all of the iconic landmarks and monuments, as well as some hidden gems that we probably would have missed on our own. They shared fascinating stories, historical facts, and interesting insights that brought each landmark to life. It never felt like a scripted tour—it was engaging, interactive, and genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end. The pace was perfect, the transport was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. We came away with a much deeper appreciation of Washington, DC, and felt like we had experienced the city in the best possible way. If you're visiting Washington, whether it's your first time or you've been before, I can't recommend Heart of DC Tours highly enough. It was excellent value for money, incredibly informative, and created memories that we'll always cherish. The tour guide is exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of the sites. He shared many stories in a fun way. He was very friendly and made the tour very enjoyable!! Also, he was a good driver and went above and beyond by taking us to a bonus site! I would highly recommend taking this tour of DC! Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Guide was so down to earth with a wealth of knowledge. I would recommend this to anyone coming to DC. Great for everyone!!!

We had a great time with Dustin our driver during our day tour, I went with my parents. He was very knowledgeable about all the monuments and memorials and was very accommodating as it was raining for majority of our tour. He is a veteran and has deep respect for the DC area. We had a great experience and admission price was reasonable given our tour being almost 4 hours long. It was a great atmosphere as we were small group with just one other family. I highly recommend using this company and would use them again whenever we come back to DC.

Tour was great, Ken was very attentive, great knowledge of the city.. an amazing way to see a large amount of things in a small amount of time..

Dustin did a great job. He had plenty of information for each stop. We had plenty of time to see the monuments.

We had such a great time on this night tour. Ken was so knowledgeable about all things DC. He did an excellent job navigating his van through all the construction, closures, tour busses, etc to get us close to each spot. He gave us very careful instructions on how to access each monument for the best pictures and then told us where to meet him and what time after each stop so the tour was very efficient!! The monuments are really beautiful at night so this tour was perfect. He even made extra stops at the end to drop us so we could get dinner after. HIGHLY recommend this amazing tour!
