エジプト博物館は中東最古の考古学博物館であり、世界最大のファラオの古代遺物のコレクションを所蔵しています。この博物館には、先王朝時代からギリシャ・ローマ時代に至るまでの広範なコレクションが展示されています。 建物の建築家は 1895 年の国際コンペによって選ばれ、この種のものとしては初めてのコンペでフランスの建築家、マルセル ドゥルニョンが優勝しました。この博物館は 1902 年にケディブ アッバス ヘルミ 2 世によって設立され、カイロのダウンタウンの歴史的ランドマークとなっており、世界で最も壮大な古代の傑作が所蔵されています。
ナイル川の現代の名前はギリシャ語のネリオスに由来しますが、エジプト人はそれをイテルまたは「川」と呼びました。ナイル川は全長約 6,825 km の世界最長の川です。ナイル川水系には、白ナイル川、青ナイル川、アトバラ川の 3 つの主要な支流があります。 エジプトの首都カイロとピラミッドのあるギザの間をナイル川でボートに乗り、この道を渡ればエジプトの文化を見ることができます。
ギザの大ピラミッドは、大ピラミッドおよびクフの大ピラミッドとも呼ばれ、ギザの 3 つのピラミッドのうち最大である古代エジプトのピラミッドです。エジプト第 4 王朝の 2 代目王クフを讃えるために建てられ、紀元前 2560 年頃に完成しました。 大ピラミッドは、世界の七不思議の中で唯一現存しているものです。おそらくこれまでに建設された単一の建物としては最大のものであり、主にその規模と、工事が信じられないほど正確に施工されたことから、この建物は驚異的です。クフ王の埋葬地と考えられているが、内部からは空の石棺のみが発見されている。ピラミッドはもともと高さが約 482 フィート (147 メートル) で、等しい 4 つの辺のそれぞれが約 755 フィート (230 メートル) でした。巨大な階段状の側面は、もともと高度に磨かれた石灰岩のケーシング石で覆われていました。それぞれ約15トンの重さがあり、間違いのない精度で溝に嵌め込まれたこれらの石が所定の位置に設置されていれば、太陽の下で構造物に光沢を与えていただろう。

Nice trip, everything was as expected. I would have liked to see the bazaar in Cairo, but instead we came to a perfume store and a herbal store. The guide was friendly and helpful. The trip was long, but we knew it in advance. I can recommend this trip 🙂

The guides were nice, and the trip went very smoothly. The museum and pyramids were beautiful. Guide Karim was very kind, and we were well fed. The McDonald’s stop on the bus was the cherry on top — tasty and time-efficient. However, instead of stopping at the perfume and papyrus shops, we could have spent more time at the pyramids. We only had one hour there and didn’t have much time to explore all three. Also, the Italian guide was more talkative than the English one, so we heard more interesting facts from him during the bus ride.

A really great value for money, and they really did their best to show as much as possible despite the limited time available… be prepared for a really full day (24 hours) excursion, but every minute you invest in travelling pays off 😊

It would be nice to have a functioning toilet in the coach with a pleasant scent. Considering it's a 5-6 hours journey. The toilet was not in use for the number 2, and recommendations were to use the next service station for urination 🙈 Overall, the trip was great, and the tourist guides, particularly Samy, were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and no stone was left unturned.. He showed us the key features of the Cairo trip. Much appreciated 🤗✌️🙏

A very long day but well worth it! My host yousef (i think that's how you spell his name) was amazing the excursion as a whole was absolutely brilliant the pyramids and sphinx are truly out of this world. If like me you are a believer of the 'impossible' whoever created (made) these were truly great architect's
