エチオピアでの一日トレッキング アドベンチャーは、かつて首都だったゴンダールからスタートします。ホテルからお迎えにあがり、シミエン山国立公園の入り口であるデバルクまで車で 2 時間かかります。到着したら、手続きや許可証をすべて済ませ、ガイドと国立公園のスカウトに会い、一日中お手伝いします。 その後、13 マイルを車で走り、公園の最初のエリアとハイキングの出発点に到着します。ミチビまでの 3 時間のトレイルをトレッキングします。ミチビでは、固有種のゲラダヒヒやさまざまな植物や鳥を見ることができます。上空からシミエン山の壮大な景色をお楽しみください。ゴンダールのホテルまでお送りして、素晴らしい一日を締めくくります。

午前中にゴンダール空港またはゴンダールのホテルにお迎えに上がります。ゴンダールから国立公園の本部があるデバルクまで車で移動します。ここで公園への入場許可を取得し、スカウトと会うために立ち寄ります。お茶とコーヒーの休憩を取り、時間があれば地元の市場を訪れます。地元の市場は毎日開いており、毎週水曜日と土曜日は大きな市場の日です。デバルクの町から、町から約 16 km 離れた公園のゲートまで車で移動します。その後、国立公園の最初のキャンプ地であるサンカベル キャンプまで約 10 km 向かいます。サンカベル キャンプから、約 3 時間のトレッキングを行います。800 m 下の丘陵地帯の素晴らしい景色を眺めながら、縁に沿ってトレッキングします。固有種のゲラダヒヒの群れに遭遇し、間近で見ることができるでしょう。ジンバの滝は、信じられないほどの 500 m の切り立った滝で、エチオピアで最も長い滝です。私たちは幹線道路カヴァメスクに戻り、そこで車が止まりゴンダールまで運転してくれます
道端から峡谷の向こうにある展望台まで 20 分歩くと、ジンバー滝が見えてきます。景色は目もくらむほどで、谷の反対側の断崖から水が流れ落ちる雨季には最高です。 サンカベルは、シミエン トレッキングのほとんどのコースで最初のキャンプ場となる場所で、公園の素晴らしい入門コースです。デバルク (シミエン山脈の入り口の町) からのドライブは、シミエン ロッジ近くのブイット ラスで終わります。ここからサンカベル キャンプへのトレッキングが始まります。ブイット ラスからサンカベルまでのルートは比較的緩やかで、高度順応ハイキングとして最適ですが、標高 3,200 メートル付近まで登る途中に急な上り坂がいくつかあります。 サンカベルはジャイアント ヒース ツリー (Erica Arboreal) と断崖の端に囲まれています。キャンプは断崖の端にあり、素晴らしい景色が楽しめます。ゲラダザルはここでよく遊んでいます。また、キャンプ周辺には、慣れてきたら探検できる素晴らしい展望台がいくつかあります。

The mountains were absolutely beautiful, and the views were amazing. It was a peaceful and refreshing experience away from the city.
We had an unforgettable day trip to Simien Mountains National Park with Mickey and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the early morning pick-up, everything was perfectly organized and handled with great professionalism. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the park, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife, landscapes, and local culture throughout the journey. The scenery in the Simien Mountains is absolutely breathtaking—dramatic cliffs, deep valleys, and panoramic views that feel like something out of a movie. We were lucky enough to see troops of Gelada baboon up close, as well as other unique wildlife that made the experience even more special. The hike itself was well-paced and suitable for a day trip, offering a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Our guide ensured we had plenty of time to enjoy the views, take photos, and truly connect with nature. What stood out most was the team’s attention to detail and genuine care for our comfort and experience. From transportation to guiding, everything was smooth and enjoyable. We went on a day trip to the Simien Mountains National Park with friends, and it was amazing. The scenery is breathtaking—cliffs, valleys, and gelada monkeys everywhere! It was a great way to spend a day outdoors without feeling rushed, and the pace was perfect for our group.
We did a day trip to the Simien Mountains as a family, and it turned out better than we expected. The views are just incredible, and even the kids enjoyed spotting the gelada monkeys. It was a nice balance—not too tiring but still enough to feel like a real adventure. Everything was well organized, so we could just relax and enjoy the day together.

Had a fantastic and fun filled guided group tour of day trip to simien mountains This was my first experience with Simien Mountain tours and happy and excited to say that it was a great one. Thanks for the well selected hotels. It enhanced our overall experience. The restaurants were also good,but could have been better. Our tour manager Mr Fentay was very helpful. A very kind hearten, jovial, courteous, fun filled character who was always around when we needed him and very patient with everyone on the tour. He needs a great round of appreciation for taking care of us throughout. Thank you Simien Mountain tours.
