ヴォロネット修道院は、1488年に記録的な時期に建てられました.3ヶ月、3週間、3日が今日のユネスコ遺産の一部です。何世紀もの悪天候にもかかわらず、外部の壁画は色合いを保存していますが、塗料の準備に使用された成分はまだ謎です。壁画の場面は、映画のように、元の様式で、キリスト教の歴史が、東洋の文化だけでなく、正教会の思想によって、民俗信念によって非常に影響を受けて描かれています。
1993年にユネスコ遺産に登録されたモルドビータ修道院は、1532年から1537年の間に建てられました。何百年もの間、無教養の住民が聖書の教えについて学ぶ唯一の方法でした。フレスコ画は、場所の歴史と地域社会の生活の重要な瞬間に合わせて、聖書のシーンの巨大なカラーイラストレーションです。
Sucevita修道院はBukovinaのPainted Monasteriesの中で最も新しいもので、1993年にユネスコ遺産に登録されました。ゴシック様式とビザンチン様式の影響を受けたモルダビア様式で造られました。壁画は、天然色素からの古代の技術によって得られた緑の色合いによって支配されています。

Excellent guide Customized program
This was an amazing day and a highlight of our trip. Leo is a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable; it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. The monasteries are gorgeous and are definitely worth the visit.I highly recommend using Rolandia for this tour

We had an absolutely amazing experience on the day trip from Iași to the Painted Monasteries in Bucovina, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Leo. From the very beginning, Leo was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He shared fascinating historical and cultural insights at every stop, making each monastery come alive in a way that you simply wouldn’t get on your own. His passion for the region was truly contagious. The trip was perfectly organized, relaxed, and enjoyable throughout. Leo made sure everyone felt comfortable, answered all our questions with patience, and even added personal touches that made the experience feel special and authentic. We had the chance to make an expedition with a guide to the beautiful monasteries around Iași, and I can only recommend this experience 100%! The places themselves are superb, steeped in history, spirituality and striking architectural beauty. But what really made this tour exceptional was our guide. He was not only extremely competent, with an impressive knowledge of local history, art and traditions, but also incredibly kind, caring and passionate. His precise and anecdotal explanations brought real added value to the visit. Thanks to him, every monastery came alive before our eyes: it was not only a series of beautiful buildings, but a deep cultural and historical immersion. One of the main reasons we went to Iasi, was to do the Rolandia tour company's Moldova tour, but since we were in this area, we signed up for this tour as well. Leo (Leonard) was our guide, and again he was fantastic. This trip was a lot of driving, but it was really interesting seeing the Romanian countryside and small villages as we whizzed by. Seeing the Stork nests on the street posts throughout the drive was also a pleasant surprise. The three monasteries that we visited were well worth the trip. My favorite was the first stop, but they were all interesting. Leo told us a lot about each of them and made sure we understood as much as possible about each of the monasteries and their artwork. We also stopped at a high point with a neat wooden swing overlooking the countryside, and for lunch in a nice restaurant. We did this trip the day after the Moldova trip- again, two long days, but a very perfect way to see this part of the world.

The experience in the monasteries was unforgettable. The guide was excellent. He described in detail the meaning and value of the frescoes painted outside and inside the monasteries. I recommend this tour with a closed eye.
