We had an exceptional tour which included the Mossman Gorge, a rainforest walk, a river cruise, swim in Cooper Creek and Cape Tribulation which was definitely a highlight. It was the right amount of time, and Tom was extremely knowledgable and very helpful and patient with everyone in the group. What makes it even better is he is genuinely passionate about what he does. Would definitely recommend for families. A descent walk so be prepared. Kids and adults will equally enjoy the Daintree Ice cream which is the best we had in Qld!

A good tour with Rob. He certainly knows the area well. Great to get into a proper rainforest that hadn't been altered to much by humans. Didn't get to see any Cassowary's unfortunately. Trees and fauna were great to see, along with the ones that can kill you or rip your skin off.

We did the Daintree tour yesterday with Tom as our guide, and he was simply excellent! From the very start of the timetable, everything ran like clockwork. Tom took us through all the incredible scheduled stops seamlessly—from the stunning walk at Mossman Gorge and the exciting wildlife cruise on the Daintree River, to the cable ferry crossing, the breathtaking views at Alexandra Lookout, and right up to Cape Tribulation. Tom was not only a fantastic, safe driver, but an exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly guide who brought the oldest rainforest in the world to life. He made sure everyone felt looked after and went out of his way to make the day special. If you are booking a tour with Tony’s Tropical Tours, do yourself a favor and hope you get Tom! This was a full day experience that we thoroughly loved. 12 and 14 year old were engaged throughout the day and haven’t stopped raving about our guide Tom. We learned so much about the area, the history and the culture. Tom was extremely knowledgeable and the tour was well worth the money. We could not have done this independently and gotten anywhere near as much out of it.

We had an absolute blast on our tour with Tom. He took us to truly special, off-the-beaten-track spots that you’d never find on your own. Thanks to his Aboriginal background, he shared fascinating cultural insights and local stories that made the experience genuinely meaningful. Tom is exceptionally well-connected with the locals, which gave the whole trip an authentic, welcoming vibe. On top of that, he is a fantastic, confident driver, making us feel completely safe the entire time and always has time for a laugh. If you get the chance to tour with him, don’t hesitate.

We had an incredible time exploring the rainforest with Tony’s yesterday, and our guide, Tom, made the trip truly unforgettable. His level of expertise is outstanding—he pointed out fascinating details and hidden gems throughout the rainforest that we would have completely missed without someone so highly trained. Because Tom is a local, the experience went far beyond standard facts. He shared captivating stories not only about the complex ecosystem of the rainforest and Mossman Gorge, but also about the history and daily life of the greater Port Douglas area. Throughout the day, he was incredibly attentive, making sure our small group stayed on track and that everyone was well taken care of. I highly recommend this tour and specifically Tom if you want an immersive, top-tier experience!

My wife and I had a fantastic tour with Adam! When we were picked up at our hotel, Adam greeted us (and everyone else) with kindness and really made a point to get to know everyone, and to help us break the ice so we could have a really personal and fun group experience. Adam did an excellent job telling stories, jokes and sharing information as we drove and hiked through the rainforest, pointing out different critters and plants with an impressive eye (he even spotted ones that were really well camouflaged). Overall this was a memorable experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an authentic look at the world's oldest rainforest.

Definitely recommend! Adam our guide was a wealth of knowledge and taught us so much. The day went by so quick, we visited several places so you were never in the van for a long time. The ice cream stop was delicious and seeing the crocodiles was an experience. They take you on a tour of the rainforest and they are the only tour group allowed there so it was just our group which was nice! Lunch was good and the tour was small and personable. They were able to accommodate being gluten free. It’s a must do trip for sure!

Great tour – Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest, crocodiles, and even cassowaries – we had a fantastic, informative and fun trip! Everything was very well organized, and Chris was a fantastic guide: very friendly and able to share a lot of information about the area with us! Highly recommended!!!

The tour was excellent from start to finish. So much magnificent unspoilt scenery. Adam our guide was knowledgeable and added to the enjoyment of the day. The tour is an absolute must.
