Hardik was an incredible guide. We went on the Dharavi tour and had a very enriching experience. I was really nervous because I have two young boys- and hardik was great with them. He walked a magical line between keeping them feeling safe and comfortable but showing them things that would teach them about this world. He had an excellent intuition to keep us all interested but didn’t push us too much. I was very nervous going into this- but I couldn’t recommend it more highly- it doesn’t feel awkward nor exploitative. And you can be as observant or involved as you’d like. I feel like my whole family is changed for the better and I am very thankful to Hardik!

Fabulous tour
Rakesh was a fabulous guide. He grew up in the Dharavi neighborhood, and thus was able to introduce the area's history and local industries in a very vivid and caring way. Any informative facts he shared were interspersed with personal stories about the community as he knows it. He has a great sense of humor and was very friendly and willing to share his perspectives on the life in Mumbai as a young person. He also accompanied us for the lunch with a local family which was delicious, and helped us communicate with the hosts while we ate. Highly recommend this tour and Rakesh as a guide.

Awesome Local Guide
We learned so much from our guide Rakesh, who is a local from Dharavi neighborhood. It was like visiting the hometown of a friend, sharing about the joys and challenges of his community through both hostorical facts and personal experience.
Rakesh had a great sense of humor as well as professional knowledge.
I also really appreciated how it was emphasized that picture taking is not allowed in residential areas.

Dhruvesh was exceptional guide for the Tour.
He provided complete details of the trip.
He being from the same area was an added bonus for me.

A tour that heightens all the senses
I haven't stopped talking to friends about the experiences from the tour. My local guide Bharti brought so much energy and knowledge to the tour, and with it being her home made you feel very welcome, ie. Not just feeling like another tourist with a camera. You will see a side of the world like no other doing this tour. Plenty of opportunities to get refreshments along the way, as it's Mumbai heat after all! Thanks for an unforgettable day out, Bharti. And for the recipe suggestions!

Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide
We had an absolutely fantastic guide with Abhi. He has delighted us very much with his extremely friendly and outgoing nature. He has responded fantastically to our questions. It has enabled us to fully immerse ourselves in the world of Mumbai. We have rarely had such a competent and at the same time friendly guide. He took us into his world and thus gave us very deep insights. Thank you, dear Abhi. When we get back to Mumbai, we will explicitly ask for Abhi at Mumbai Dream Tours.

Excellent guide, that provided an amazing experience.
We had a small issue with the meeting point, but as I've experienced on other tours, it appears to be a viator and not a tour operator issue. It was fixed with a quick message to Viator and the exact meeting point is the ticket office at Churchgate train station. Rakesh was an excellent guide and provided a day of memorable experiences. All 3 activities were fascinating, as was the local train and taxi rides. I would definitely recommend Rakesh and the tour to anyone visiting Mumbai.
