Thank you for the feedback. Our carts do have both forward-facing and rear-facing seats as part of the standard seating layout. We understand everyone has a different preference, although some guests actually enjoy the rear seats because they offer a wider view while driving through the city. Arriving a little early can definitely help if you have a preferred seat. We appreciate you joining us!

Thank you for sharing this! We’re glad Lee helped make the tour fun and that you were still able to find a good spot for a White House photo despite the fencing. Access around the White House can change depending on security restrictions, so we always try to help guests get the best view available. And yes, our 6 PM tour is more of a sunset/twilight experience, while the later tour is fully after dark. We really appreciate you joining us!

We’re sorry the weather affected your experience, but we do want to clarify that we do not operate during heavy rain, lightning, or unsafe weather conditions. We operate in light rain, and our carts are equipped with rain covers. Unfortunately, weather can change quickly and is outside of our control. The rear-facing seat is also part of the vehicle’s standard approved seating configuration and is designed for passenger use. We always put safety first, and we’re sorry the weather made the tour less enjoyable for you.
