Our tour is intentionally designed to showcase both the historic and modern sides of Montevideo. It includes emblematic landmarks such as the iconic Estadio Centenario the first World Cup stadium along with key historical areas and cultural highlights. The experience you booked clearly states that it is a panoramic city tour by vehicle, not a walking tour. The vehicle is essential to cover the main attractions of Montevideo efficiently, especially for cruise passengers with limited time in port. That said, the tour also includes walking portions in the historic district (Ciudad Vieja) to provide a closer look and deeper context. Our goal is not only to visit places, but to share knowledge about our history, culture, and identity as a country. We are proud that our guide provided detailed and passionate commentary throughout the experience. Of course, every guest has their own criteria and personal perspective when experiencing a tour. Fortunately, other members of your same group shared a different interpretation of the experience and expressed their satisfaction with the tour.
