An excellent experience from start to finish. I want to especially highlight the attention and service of Pacific Coast; the entire team was very kind, attentive, and professional, always making sure that we enjoyed the experience to the fullest. From the first contact, you can notice the good organization and the genuine interest in providing quality service. The experience exceeded our expectations and we took away very good memories. Wonderful morning of snorkeling..our guide was terrific..very friendly and safety mimded..saw lots of fish...nice boat..all staff were TERRIFIC..thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

We went on a snorkeling trip with this center, proposed to us by our hotel in Tamarindo. I didn't like the trip at all; we spent almost an hour and a half on the boat to get to the first site to dive for almost an hour. The place is nothing special, anonymous seabeds and little variety of fish. There was a guide leading the group, but there were too many of us and we were all crowded together because they kept telling us to stay close. Then, after another twenty minutes or so by boat, we went to a second place, which was terrible, however. It was very windy and the water was rough, and we spent almost an hour in the water unable to do anything but just soak. It is true that it is not their fault if the sea is rough, but if that place is not suitable for snorkeling that day, take us somewhere else. This is not okay!

I had a great time! I was able to see a variety of marine life and at the end our guide Marie showed us in a book all the fish we saw while snorkeling. I want to highlight the guide Marie who was kind and attentive at all times, despite not speaking Spanish and my English not being the best, she had patience to repeat the instructions to me in English. Also, she is very good at finding the wildlife there is to see, and she helped me review the freediving technique. The activity takes place on the Santa Catalina Islands which are very beautiful to admire, and you can observe the blue-footed boobies hunting fish. Without a doubt I recommend it completely, a very good experience.

Great half day trip snorkelling in 2 locations. Got to see lots of fish Dave and Ian looked after us by well Felt very safe and whole thing was well managed and organised. Lots of drinks and snacks, and they went out of their way to look after us, as a few of the group did suffer with sea sickness.

I had an amazing experience diving with the team at PCDC. From the start, the check-in and setup process was seamless. As a larger individual, I particularly appreciated that your equipment was well-maintained and that my wetsuit fit perfectly. The transfer to the beach was quick, and the dive boat was spacious and in excellent condition. Your crew was fantastic and very personable; it was a highlight when the captain slowed down to let us enjoy the dolphin pod playing nearby. Once underwater, safety was clearly a top priority. We saw an incredible variety of marine life, including a large Green Sea Turtle, a lobster, a baby shark, eels, an octopus, and two small seahorses—which I had never seen before. The food was fresh and delicious, and the entire day went by far too quickly. I could not have asked for a better experience on or under the water.

Here’s a polished recommendation you can use: We had an amazing snorkeling experience in Costa Rica with Siri as our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire trip unforgettable for my son and me. Siri took the time to point out so much sea life we would have otherwise missed, and her passion for the ocean really showed throughout the tour. She made us feel safe, comfortable, and excited the entire time. If you are visiting Costa Rica and looking for an incredible snorkeling adventure, I highly recommend booking with PDC. She truly made the experience special for our family, and we will definitely remember this adventure for years to come.

Risky our lead was an amazing & funny chap. Very personal & informative & took care of the entire group. The crew was very nice too.

Poorly organized trip - we spent more time waiting on land than we did actually sailing or snorkeling. The time we did spend on the water was mostly spent fending off other snorkelers. We arrived at the office at 7:30 and checked in and waited until about 8:30 or 9 before we boarded a van down to the waterfront. We waited at the waterfront for another 45 minutes before we were ferried in groups out to the boat - waiting again for another 30 minutes for everyone to load on. Once we sailed we waited to drop off the scuba divers in two groups then finally got in the water. Unfortunately, the plan then involved following a single lead snorkeler as we swam along the reef. It resulted in cloudy/washed up conditions, crowded quarters and a generally unenjoyable experience.

They use a sanitizer on the snorkeling gear and do not let it air out or dry at all. Many of those on my snorkel tour ended up being nauseated and puking off the side of the boat due to inhaling these chemicals. Great group of tour guides, but this really altered all of our experiences.
