Steve was the best tour guide we've ever had. Incredible experience, breathtaking views, memories of a lifetime.
Unfortunately, of the 4 tours we did this week in Banff, this was our least favorite. The day felt very rushed. While I appreciate that the guide did his best, not being from the area seemed to make a significant difference. There wasn’t much history shared like we received from others as well as advice along the way. He was very excited to take everyone’s pictures which was very kind, but it felt forced sometimes when that wasn’t what guests sought. I’d suggest trying to pack less in the one day, and maybe adding music to the ride.
We had an amazing time! Sam our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helped us take the best pictures! My only complaint is with spotty phone service we weren't able to receive the message for the short window for ticket purchase for the ice fields. Although disappointing Sam took us to some amazing places to make up for it. We enjoyed everything!

We had a wonderful experience on the Columbia Icefield tour. We were picked up right on time from Canmore by our tour guide, Tony, who was friendly, accommodating, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the day. The drive was smooth from start to finish, and the entire tour was well organized. Since the Columbia Icefield tour involves a lot of driving, I think it would make the experience even more memorable if more stories, history, geology, or interesting facts were shared at each stop. Learning more about the landscapes and how they were formed would have made the long drive feel even more engaging and educational. Overall, it was a fantastic full-day tour with breathtaking scenery, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Canadian Rockies. Thank you, Tony, for making our day enjoyable!
Our tour guide is a very passionate nice guy. However, this company is not a responsible one. They said they’d let us know about the ticket info to Columbia Icefield adventure TWO days before the trip, and they didn’t really until I asked one day before. I sent the group rate payment of $142 CAD per person immediately after I saw their payment request, but found out they FAILED to purchase the tickets after we arrived at Columbia Icefield. They promised to refund what I’ve paid and let me pay at the counter MYSELF at a rate of $168 CAD per person. It turned out the only refunded the fare difference of $26 CAD per person, NEVER refunded the initial payment of $142 CAD, and ignored all my messages during this past week. This sounds like a scam, right? So I had to file a dispute through my bank 🙄 They could’ve made both our life easier if they 1) send the tickets info earlier, 2) check who purchased the tickets as soon as we boarded, or 3) pay using their business card while we were at the counter. But they did none of these. Clearly not a well-organized touring company. Well, this was my second time touring with Banff Journey, which is probably the last. Thank you for taking us to the meeting point anyways.
If you include the snowcoach and skywalk at the icefields expect to be rushed through the entire tour. No time for lunch you must bring your own. Other than that it was a great experience.
Very good customer experience. Places we visit were magical. Amazing scenery. The driver was prompt, friendly, and absolute helpful.
Exciting trip offered thru Banff Journey. The tour driver was friendly and showed us best views. If you’re are planning to visit Glacier and Glass bridge/deck, i suggest pack some snacks ahead of time. Because you will not get enough time to grab food at the visitor center.
It was very bad organisation, very rude people who think only about money, and how to get more from tourists, when we had big problems they just took our money and told “thanks for understanding “
