冷戦ツアーの待ち合わせ場所は、ベルリンの分断の中心にある歴史的な場所、フリードリヒ通り駅です。 ここでは、エキスパートガイドが、3時間にわたる魅力的な旅の概要を説明し、探索する主要なサイトやストーリーの概要を説明します。 そこからは、かつて冷戦時代に東西ベルリンを結んでいた地下路線「ゴーストトレイン」でユニークな体験をします。 これによって、ベルリンの劇的な歴史、分断された時代の緊張、ベルリンの過去を形作った個人的な物語をより深く理解するための舞台となる。

イースト・サイド・ギャラリーは、世界で最も長い永久的なグラフィティウォールであり、ベルリンの壁の現存する最大のセクションです。かつては死線だったこの壁は、今では自由の強力なシンボルとなっています。 その象徴的な壁画は、コンクリートの弾圧を大胆な芸術に変え、抵抗、希望、そして冷戦で最も悪名高い分断の崩壊の物語を伝えている。

Rohan was so enthusiastic. You could tell he loved history. I honestly wish he could have spent the day with us. My twenty year old and I throughly enjoyed it, but he even got my 13 year old daughter interested. He was so great I immediately signed up for the Third Reich Berlin: Hitler and WWII Walking Tour tomorrow. I just wish Rohan was going to be our guide because he really was fantastic.

Our Tour Guide, Xavier was excellent, energetic, knowledgeable and patient. We visited Tranen Palast, Alexander Platz and the East Side Gallery and it went at a perfect pace, not too fast and not too slow. The nuggets of personal information and experience shared by Xavier added that extra touch, making this tour even more special. It was a very hot day and Xavier guided us into shady areas where possible, very considerate and thoughtful. Would recommend this tour and guide when I can and to friends and family.
