I really recommend this tour if you want to get to know Ljubljana and its history. Our guide Nina was extremely knowledgeable, informative and kind. Be aware that the tour is quite history dense and that you stand still more than you walk (because the city center isn't that big). I personally enjoy history and listened carefully but my girlfriend became a bit restless towards the end. Also be aware that you are expected to tip the guide 10-15 euros per person, which is fine but came a bit as a surprise as the tour was advertised as "free".
Hi Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed our tour. When we merge groups of pre-paid and tip-based guests, some people are expected to tip, but not you as you had paid and secured your spot in advance. Hopefully you did not pay any additional tip (unles you really wanted to) because we watch over this closely.
The organisation was good, had a clear instruction of the meeting point. The guide, Ingrid, did give her best to bring us along even though we were quite a big group. All was great.

Excellent tour of this beautiful city. It was 38 degrees so not ideal, but Tina our guide was very careful to keep us in the shade as much as possible and give us a stop for water. Tina was a very efficient and friendly guide - very knowledgeable and very happy to answer questions. We found the meeting point easily- it was an 11 minute walk from the bus station as we had got the bus from Kranskja Gora.

Tina(?) was a great guide! She was thoughtful about the group and outside temperature making sure we were hydrating and staying in the shade. She was welcoming and gave just enough information for interest but not too much that we were overloaded on information! Definitely recommend as a good first day activity!

The tour was lovely, very easy way to see Ljubljana and get a feel for the city. Our guide Tina was excellent, she covered everything from architecture and history to the food and drinks culture, but we never felt rushed or pressured from site to site. She answered all our questions, gave us valuable tips, and we already tested one of the restaurants 😉 Would recommend, it’s 2 hours so be prepared to have some water and you’ll stand around for the various sites so be sure to have comfortable shoes.
