Taxis at Civitavecchia port charge crazy rates. Booking this semi-private tour in advance was far more economic and infinitely higher quality.
Extremely easy booking and reliable service. The instructions to meet the driver right outside the cruise terminal were super clear.Our cruise ship docked 30 minutes late due to port traffic, but our driver was waiting patiently for us with a name sign.
Smooth 70-minute drive each way between Civitavecchia and Rome. The vehicle was whisper-quiet and very smooth on the highway.Do not hesitate to book this shore excursion! Reliable, comfortable, and guaranteed to give you the absolute best day in Rome.
The journey from Civitavecchia was comfortable, and having door-to-door transportation made a big difference. Once in Rome, the itinerary covered plenty without becoming exhausting. It was a long day, but the organization and comfortable vehicle made it manageable.
We had about 30–45 minutes at each main landmark to take photos, look around, and grab espresso. Small group meant no waiting around for 40 people to get on and off a bus. Exactly what we needed for our day in Rome.
Easy pickup at Civitavecchia, comfortable air-conditioned van, and a clear schedule. We saw the big highlights, had time for lunch, and got back to the ship early. Clean, reliable service that delivers what it promises.

An exceptional tour! It hits all the major Roman highlights in a tight schedule but keeps it relaxed. Quick tip: wear your most comfortable walking shoes because even with a driver, Rome requires some walking on cobblestones. Seamless pier pickup, great pacing, and excellent value.
