Claudio was a phenomenal guide! Thanks to his knowledge and expertise, we were able to see and experience so much more of Rome than we ever could have on our own. He is warm, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and so easy to spend time with. Luca also did a wonderful job arranging our guided tour of the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel. Everything was so well organized, and it made our time in Rome truly special. We are so grateful for the care and thought that went into our experience. We were picked up by Mario at the exit of the boat and we were able to attend the most beautiful excursion to date, we can say that Mario has energy and thanks to him we spent an unforgettable day

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Perfect Way to See Rome — Truly Door-to-Door Service! We had an absolutely incredible experience with Rome Private Excursions and cannot recommend them highly enough! Our group traveled in two private vans with our wonderful guides, Angelo and Sal, and they made our day in Rome one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the very beginning, the service was exceptional. Angelo and Sal were waiting for us right outside the boat when we disembarked and, at the end of our amazing day, dropped us right back at the boat. No long walks through the port and no waiting for or taking a shuttle — it was literally door-to-door service, which made such a difference! We packed an unbelievable amount into one day without ever feeling like we were simply being rushed from place to place. We visited the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Giordi, had a private tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, and still had time for some shopping — and, of course, gelato! 🇮🇹🍨 What made the experience even more special was that we had our 10-month-old grandson traveling with us. Angelo and Sal went out of their way to make every accessibility accommodation they possibly could for our family. Traveling with a baby can sometimes make sightseeing complicated, but they made everything so much easier and allowed our entire family to relax and enjoy the day. Angelo and Sal were knowledgeable, friendly, professional and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experience. Having private vans allowed us to see so much more of Rome comfortably and efficiently, while still making the day feel personal and relaxed. We loved this tour. Private car with very informative driver/guide who spoke amazing English. (Luckily for us the car was air conditioned too!) Private Vatican tour as well and once again the guide was amazing. As a taster for Rome it was amazing and we will return and use the company for a more in depth tour of Rome

My husband, son and I had the BEST tour of Rome. We were on a cruise and got picked up by our driver Claudio right on time in Civitavecchia for a full day in Rome. There's no words for how kind, knowledgeable and friendly Claudio was. I love that we were able to choose all the things we wanted to see and do. Claudio was accommodating and somehow made it all happen even though we had limited time. We will definitely be back in Italy and will use Rome Private excursions again. We had an amazing day in Rome with our driver Mike. He was waiting for us at the cruise ship terminal in Civitavecchia right at 7:45 when we debarked the ship. He was warm and welcoming and got us right on our way into Rome. He was very personable and gave us lots of interesting information and facts about the areas that we were passing along the way. Not only did he get us to the Trevi fountain before it became too crowded, he reserved us a table at a nice authentic Rome restaurant where we enjoyed local food and drinks. Mike was very accomodating as I had asked to make a stop near the Spanish steps as well as near the Colosseum. One other highlight of our trip was when we inquired about the fountains and which ones you could drink from he brought us to one of the best in Rome so that we could try the water. It was delightfully refreshing on a VERY hot July day. I would not hesitate to recommend this excursion to anyone who is wanting to see the major sights of Rome whether from a cruise or not.

Great tour! Our tour guide, Sal, was FANTASTIC! He was very knowledgeable, and he took us to everywhere we wanted to see. He even suggested and took us to other interesting places that we didn’t realize or know that we should see.

Alexandro was our driver - very pleasant and knowledgeable. Took my Granddaughter & me to places we didn't think we'd get to see (opted not to take tour offered by cruise ship & so glad we did!). We were picked up at the ship & were whisked through the back streets & hard to get to places that the large cruise ship buses are not able to get in, plus their knowledge of the area. We were able to see the Fountain, Knights Templer Keyhole, able to walk around the Coliseum, overlooking the city of Rome where they shot off a cannon at noon & were able to hear all the church bells ringing at the same time, stopped for lunch, and met Sylvia, our AMAZING guide for a 2 hour private tour of the Vatican & Sistine Chapel. We only had one day in Rome, so we packed a lot into the 9 hours & only got a glimpse of what Rome offers! Alexandro & Sylvia spoke very good English. I would highly recommend using R.P.E Travel to book any tour in Italy where they offer their services. I was apprehensive about going outside of tour offered by ship, etc., but a friend of a friend (who travels to Italy often) recommended Luca highly, so I contacted them & the rest is history. The cost between the ship's tour (limited to specific places) & R.P.E Travel was a better deal, because you're not waiting for 40+ people to get on/off the bus, plus the buses can only go so far & not able to maneuver the streets, etc.

A must do tour of the highlights, watch all the stories and history you learned come to live. We had Manny as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and planned the perfect day for our family, he even made lunch reservations for us at with a taste of local foods. Thank you Manny, you are the best!
