パート1-街を歩く ツアーの最初の部分では、ベルゲンの活気ある中心部を散策します。魚市場、劇場、古い消防署を過ぎると、エドヴァルド・グリーグやヘンリック・イプセンなどの個性に出会います。しかし、私たちのツアーでは、街の歴史的な側面だけでなく、ベルゲンの人々とここと今の彼らの生活にも近づけたいと思っています。
パート2-ブリッゲンとドイツハンザ同盟 ブリッゲン地区の絵のようにカラフルな木造住宅は、街のシンボルです。今日、家の中にはカフェ、レストラン、バーがあり、地元の人や観光客が頻繁に訪れます。しかし、400年前、空気中に乾燥タラの匂いがあり、ここに保管されていました。ドイツの商人は、ノルウェーの漁師からタラを購入し、ヨーロッパ全土に輸出しました。この魚は、ベルゲンを当時スカンジナビアで最も重要な貿易大都市にしました。ブリッゲンの世界遺産を通り抜ける途中で、魚を特別なものにした理由、ハンザ同盟が何であったか、ドイツ商人の生活がここでどのようになったかをお話しします。

I love a guide who is only telling you a tiny portion of what he knows like the tip of an iceberg and then when you ask a question you see the other 9/10ths beneath the water. Martin was so knowledgeable and able to answer every question in depth. Has added hugely to our experience here; we learnt a lot! Highly recommended.

We loved our walking tour with Martin. Martin was really friendly and relaxed and gave us a great breakdown on the history of Bergen, from the fishing port, Hanseatic League, numerous 'fires' and musical composers Ole Bull, Edvard Greig and sculptor by the drummer from A Ha😊. We'd definitely recommend a guided talk by Martin for anyone thinking about it.

Small intimate tour with like minded tourists wanting to learn about the history and notable landmarks of Bergen. Martin delivered with storytelling and connection with each of us. A few laughs were had and the group bonded through personal discussion along the way.
