The tour guide was excellent, a really nice guy, very informative and passionate about some of the history. Only issue was trying to find where to get on the bus or the bus from as we didn’t have a leaflet until we saw a community support officer. There could be more advertisement in the centre of the town with directions? Anyway we got there in the end and really enjoyed the tour.

What a brilliant way to see the city, and learn about the history! Also, perfect on a hot and sunny day. Lovely relaxing ride around the places we’d seen from the wall.

Driver very friendly and efficient. Commentary was very informative without being intrusive mmm We have visited Chester on numerous occasions, but learned plenty we didn't know on this trip. Highly recommended and excellent value.

Thoroughly recommend this trip as it’s a great way to get a speedy overall view of the wonderful city and its history. We tied it in with a boat trip too which was decent value and masses of interesting commentary on both the river boat and the bus.

Nightmare from start to finish. Went to the website, on the website it states - 'Buses run hourly from April 5th to May 23rd and from September 1st to 28th. They run every half hour from May 24th to August 31st'. My date of travel being 29th June, so a bus every 30 minutes. Waited just under an hour, no bus has arrived. Phone the help number on the ticket, telephone number does not exist. Eventually after over an hour a bus arrives and driver tells me it's every hour and the details on the website are wrong. That was no good to me, so didn't do the tour, but as City Sightseeing offer a cancellation for tickets I contacted them for a refund on my unused ticket as advised by the driver. Now they refuse to refund me, refuse to acknowledge it states every 30 minutes on their website even though it clearly still does. Refuse to acknowledge the help number does not exist. This company is no more than a thief, selling you something by lying to you. Never again. Stay clear.

My wife has mobility issues so the best way to get around and see a city is a hop on hop off bus. The stops are always in the most popular places so we get to see everything pretty much worth seeing with as little walking as possible. We've done these buses in London, Prague, Rome, Barcelona, Liverpool and many other cities. You know exactly what you're getting. and good value for money. cant recommend them enough.

Check before you travel the majority of the places on the route were closed on Mondays. The tour itself was interesting and informative but not being able to actually visit many of the the buildings was disappointing. Many of the bus stops were hard to find, with no distinctive marking.

Driver very helpful. Good historical information . Great way to get around the city and convenient stops.

This would have been a great experience but the bus had broken down. We waited at Chester bus station stand j. We saw the bus come in on time on the opposite side of the road. We saw the driver get out of the bus and walk away several times. There were about 8 people waiting at the stop. There is no phone number provided so none of us could ring to find out what had happened. I crossed over the toad when I saw the driver get on the bus.he started gesticulating at me. Eventually he opened the door and shouted at me that I was in a restricted area. I pointed out I was visually impaired and hadn’t seen any signs. I asked him what had happened and he said the bus had broken down. When I asked why he hadn’t come across to tell us all he shouted again and said he couldn’t leave the bus, it everyone saw him leave several times. We all waited an hour before next bus came. There needs to be a phone number. Not good enough!!

The tour was good , there was no on-line map to show where to get on the bus. Real time locator on app did not work
