Everything was amazing. Breathtaking views, friendly crew, beautiful boat. There is a great history behind that boat. I think this is the best Chicago boat tour

This was a great 2-hour cruise which included the Chicago River, the river locks and Lake Michigan. Staff was friendly, organized and helpful. They explained the boat layout and assisted people with boarding as needed. We left the pier on time. Boat was full but did not seem overly crowded. Seating was open or covered - your choice. Cliff, our narrator, was outstanding. His presentation combined in-depth knowledge with genuineness of delivery. Not boring or rote. The cruise covered history, maritime info and architecture. As a lifelong Chicagoan, I thought I knew a bit about landmarks and past events along the route, but I learned a lot!

It was a great experience. I have done other architecture cruises before . This one was by far the best .

The boat was late returning from the previous cruise. Our trip was to start at 8:30 and the boat returned at 8:46 and then had to unload current passengers. The boat was covered in the back so it limited our views. I was also killing spiders and had a lot of spider webs.

Get to the boat early. It was a bit too crowded and we were stuck inside and couldn’t see well. Disappointed

The crew was so kind! Amazing views! The fireworks lit up the water so beautifully. There was a performance on board that was a little too loud for me, but I luckily had some ear plugs to tune it out a bit. I just have sensitivity to loud noises. I asked the captain and they said that a show isn't always present on board. 10/10 would recommend.

We had the best time on the fire boat excursion! The staff was so friendly the music was great! The best part was the Chicago skyline and the fireworks! Such a great time. We highly recommend doing this on your next trip to Chicago!

Fun time on the Fireboat! We took the firework cruise they brought us to the perfect location to watch! We spoke about the history and future of the fireboat with the Capt Ray after the tour was over. Highly recommend this tour!!

This was fabulous! Scenery was spectacular & guide was knowledgeable. Being on a former Chicago Fire Dept boat was very cool. Going thru a lock was a nice extra. I highly recommend this tour to everybody! Even inclement weather we were comfortable! Definitely a must do in Chicago!
