No one turned up. I think the tour was cancelled so not sure what went down. So I joined another tour
Thank you for sharing your feedback. However, I would like to clarify a few details. You arrived more than two hours before the scheduled start of the tour, and despite the very windy and rough sea conditions that day, I was there to welcome you and personally accompanied you throughout the entire experience. I also helped you change your hydrofoil tickets and provided you with all the tickets included in your tour. I even assisted you when you needed small change, doing my best to make sure you were comfortable and supported at all times. I’m truly sorry that you didn’t enjoy the experience, but I believe I offered full assistance, kindness, and professionalism during your visit. The weather was beyond anyone’s control, but I made sure the tour took place and that you received everything promised.
The tour itself was decent. Our guide, Dominic, was lovely and very knowledgeable. He gave us good recommendations of places to eat at and things to do in our time on the island. This review is getting negative points for very poor organisation from the company's end. We were to be picked up on Capri itself, but it seems that the majority of the group got on a ferry from Naples. The tour was 1.5 hours late in starting with no updates from the tour themselves about how long it would be until our guide arrived with the people who began in Naples (presumably the ferry was late but we weren't actually given an explanation), leaving us standing in the hot Capri sun (It was around 34 degrees C). Dominic did not actually know we were waiting on Capri, the tour company did not give him our names, it was only when we called for support about 30 mins after the supposed start time that he knew we were even there. The lack of communication was very frustrating as we could have used that time to explore shops, grab something to eat, or at a minimum find a cool shaded place to wait, but we had no idea if the group would arrive in 5 minutes, 30 minutes etc., or if we'd somehow missed it.

We are, however, truly sorry for the delay and the lack of communication at the start of your experience. On that particular day, the ferry from Naples — which carried most of the group — was significantly delayed due to port congestion, which unfortunately affected the scheduled meeting time in Capri. While our team did their best to coordinate between both meeting points, we sincerely regret that you were not informed promptly and left waiting in the heat. We have since reviewed our communication procedures to ensure that all guests — especially those joining directly in Capri — receive real-time updates in such cases. Your feedback helps us improve, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share it. It was a very nice tour. I strongly recommend you review the itinerary clearly. The description does not match what you get. You may think you’re going to the Blue Grotto, or getting a boat tour, if the Grotto is closed. Instead, you’re paying for something else. The part to review carefully is the “Inclusions/exclusions”. You think you’re purchasing a grotto tour because that’s primarily mentioned in the tour description, but the Grotto and Boat are then listed among the exclusions. 🤷♂️

The Blue Grotto is always subject to sea and weather conditions, and as clearly stated in the tour description, when it’s closed, we provide an alternative boat tour around the island instead. Access to the Grotto and boat tours can sometimes be listed under exclusions because they depend on external factors beyond our control. Beautiful ride up the chairlift to amazing views . Everyone so friendly and helpful. Dominick was our tour guide , he was funny , friendly and knowledgeable . The boat tour was incredible to see caves and grattos. Highly recommend.
We were so pleased we visited capri early morning. We travelled by boat from sorrento, it was a calm crossing then made our way to the buses which took us to the chair lift. Although it was quite daunting as they are single seats and the seats scoop you up, with the help of 2 men, you put the bar across and you are away! The scenery is beautiful, the serenity and peace was amazing for the 12 or so minutes it took to go to the top. 2 men help you out at the top and you are immediately on top of the world with the most fabulous views. There was a cafe with seating - this wasn't over priced, toilets were 1 euro. You could stay as long as you wished whilst taking in the beauty of surroundings before making the trip back. Coming down was even more wonderful as the landscape was admired. Once at the bottom, by about 12 noon, the queue was very long, the buses were full so we opted for an unusual taxi at a cost of 25euros. We then investigated capri before our boat trip to Blue grotto and around the island. Sadly the sea was now too rough to do blue grotto and go around the whole island, so we just did some caves before returning to sorrento in very rough seas!
The brother duo were great. Capri can be a bit chaotic without a proper guide. The brothers made it fun and entertaining. They have been doing this a very long time. Made me feel comfortable since I was doing this solo.
Anna was fantastic! We got to see all of capri and anacapri. Had a good portion of free time and were able to do the chair lift & a boat ride around the island!
Our guide was extremely helpful. We were on a cruise but the other people weren’t so he made sure we got back in time while the others stayed and shopped. He also was very informative.
The Vespa ride was the most memorable, yet the shared dining experience was just as amazing with strangers who became new friends 😘
