Paid a lot more through Viator than it would be to book directly with the Table mountain official website, ticket says “guaranteed to skip the lines” but when you get there you still need to wait in a 3 hour line in the sun, ticket also says “flexibility to change” and “valid for 7days” which is another lie as we were told entry only for our day and time booked and had to get permission to enter after waiting in line for 3 hours and not being able to enter at our booked time. when talking to customer service they are rude and tell you that you are wrong even though you send proof of whats included in your ticket from the confirmation email they send you, when asking to speak to a supervisor you get told to check your emails but they won’t respond to you for another 3 hours only to tell you that they can’t help you because they can’t find your booking in their system. then after getting to the entry the people who work there say they never actually sent through the ticket and apparently it’s been happening with multiple people all day so that’s an extra 30min wait to sort out tickets. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM. awful customer service, overpriced tickets and lies just to get you to use their company.

The experience itself was brilliant (apart from the fog which prevented any views)! Wouldn't book with this company again. We turned up and tried to gain entry but viator hadn't sent us the tickets via WhatsApp or email as promised. After about 30 mins of phone calls, whilst standing at the entry to this attraction, our tickets were finally sent via WhatsApp. It took about 5 phone calls and half an hour at least of waiting. Wouldn't book with Viator again, go straight to the attraction website to save the hassle.

We booked this cable car to visit table mountain. So well organised, and a very smooth journey, could barely feel the car moving. The 360 turn is good to allow everyone different views both up and down. The views are amazing at the top. The top is like another little world of paths to explore. We had a drink at the bar and bought some gifts in the shop.

It was an innovative experience, lots of knowledge. The guide Candi made his explanations quite objective. The ideal would be to have direct translation into other languages besides English.

First time on cable car. Scary but amazing sights. Would definitely go again

This has to be the best tour I've ever had so far in my South Africa tour, my tour guide was such an amazing guy, making jokes along the way but still driving carefully and responsibly. Amazing experience

Riding the Table Mountain Cable Car in Cape Town was a peaceful escape. The views from top were breathtaking, with the city and coastline stretching endlessly. The ride up and down was smooth, quiet, and perfectly organized. A serene solo adventure I’ll always remember.

We were forced to buy tickets on site again. A real scam... don't buy!!!
