Cao Bang Loop : 2 - Day Ban Gioc Waterfall & Local Experiences（カオバンループ：2日バンジョック滝＆ローカル体験）

my girlfriend and i have just finished the cao bang loop with cao bang adventure and we had the best time. we chose a private tour with easyriders, lasting 4 days and 3 nights. the private tour meant that it was a much more intimate experience and i feel it allowed us to connect well with our easyriders, tien and trinh, without crowds present. my easydriver was tien who is an absolutely wonderful man. for me, he made the tour even better with his enthusiasm, kindness and knowledge of the area. he navigated the mountainous roads for 4 consecutive days, telling me various facts about each location as well as checking in on me to see if i was ok. i felt incredibly safe the entire time and that is because of tien’s skills. safety was a huge factor in deciding which company i was going to choose, as sitting on the back of a motorbike was something i wasn’t too familiar with doing apart from the occasional short grab bike journey. i contacted the company before the tour and asked lots of questions about the safety element and i was reassured by their response. my easyrider could probably drive with his eyes closed he knows the route that well! it’s worth mentioning that the accommodation for each night was outstanding. the first and second night was spent in two farmstays. the final night (my favourite night) was spent in a remote village in a family home! this was such an amazing opportunity!! from drinking lots of happy water to seeing how paper is made in a handicraft village to trying delicious and fresh foods, this tour has it all! thank you tien and trinh :)

Thanks to Tien, who perfectly guided us during these two incredible days through the beautiful landscapes of Cao Bang. He made us taste authentic local meals in places where no one goes, and the food was truly excellent. We slept in a superb inn in a very cute and quiet place where we could rest perfectly. The staff was particularly friendly and endearing; we ate with them and spent the whole evening with them, introducing them to our card games. A big plus for the accommodation that was made available to us upon our early morning arrival (4:00 AM by night bus) before heading out for the tour. We were able to finish our work properly.

The trek is very well organized, and the landscapes are breathtaking. We discovered several villages and participated in some hands-on activities like paper making. Our guide Tien is very welcoming, adapts to our preferences, and speaks English very well. The accommodation where we slept is a haven of peace, right in the middle of the mountains and very well arranged.

The trip was amazing. Our guide was great he showed us lots of stuff we would not have seen biking alone. The food was great.

We were so lucky to have such a wonderful tour guide! Nhân is an amazing person❤️ We experienced so much and saw so many stunning places! We had so much fun! Nhân tried her best to make our tour as memorable as possible — we’re so much thankful to her for that! Thank you Nhân for showing us local food and getting us to local authentic food places! Thank you for going even beyond the itinerary and showing us some extra viewpoints — they were all so beautiful! Thank you for hiking with us even though it was raining and slippery🥺 We’re so happy that despite the bad weather we still managed to see all the places and the most famous viewpoint! It was really important for us❤️ With Nhân you don’t have to worry about bad weather — she will give you raincoats, shoes cover, bag cover and will be up to everything regardless the weather! Also, she is a very good and careful motorbike driver. She drives so smoothly that I actually fell asleep many times😂 P.S. sorry Nhân for hitting your helmet with my helmet every time I felt asleep🤣 You drive too nice and smoothly!😂 The only thing we regret is that we didn’t thank her enough when we said goodbye to each other because we were so tired after so many great experiences and views and just wanted to take shower and sleep. What a lovely experience this was! Nhan was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area. It was so interesting learning about her region. She made me feel like a local. If you are looking for real experience on what Northern Vietnam has to offer book this trip! The scenery is amazing and Nhan my guide was so flexible on what foods I wanted to try. It was great learning what each village does from day to day and everyone was so accommodating. I couldn’t recommend this enough!

We had a wonderful experience with Tien. He was so kind and caring, and even offered to reschedule our tour when we had some personal complications. Cao Bang is truly wonderful, breathtaking landscapes and not so many tourists. Tien was very knowledgeable and explained to us a lot of things. I can't recommend this tour (and Tien) enough

We had an amazing couple of days with our easy riders, Truong, Huynh and Tien, our fantastic group leader, who took excellent care of us and showed us all the best local sights and cuisine! All three riders were passionate about showing us their beautiful local landscapes, which are still relatively undiscovered by mass tourism, and sharing with us their beautiful culture. Our tour was only two days but we still packed so much in, including a stay at a gorgeous homestay in the mountains and all meals included. Well worth the price especially when compared to the Ha Giang Loop as, after having done both, this tour felt so much more authentic and special. A must-do tour if you’re looking for a real authentic experience!

Such a wonderful experience. Tien was very accommodating, kind and funny and always made sure we were safe and having a great time! Our other drivers, Truong and Huynh, were also very lovely and were safe drivers! The viewpoints we stopped at were beautiful and overall had a really wonderful time on this tour. I’d definitely recommend!

Tien, our guide, shared with us his passion for his region, his culture, his traditions and his gastronomy. Two days of total change of scenery and discoveries. An unforgettable experience that we recommend.
