It's an intense and detailed tour in Calakmul, which I preferred more than our visit in Chichen Itza. The guide was very well informed and timw passed quickly.

The tour was as advertised. Picked up on time, van was comfortable, driver and guide were professional & the picnic lunch was nice. There were 5 participants on our tour. My only comment would be to improve the story-telling capability of the guide - that makes a good guide great. The guide delivered relevant information but did not elaborate in a way that made it an overall interesting and more memorable story. I would recommend this tour company but there is some professional development which could be done to make the tour even better.

Far too expensive for a guided tour of about 4 hours !!! Pick-up with 2 hours delay and then first to the museum without explanation. Afterwards to 3 sites of the Mayans with possibility to climb and in between we saw monkeys. Highlight was a lovingly built snack by the guide in the parking lot between the cars. For this we paid 120 euros per person, definitely not appropriate!!!!

Manuel made a great tour and after just under 5 hours we were back at the hotel . We have seen howler monkeys and monkeys and an eagle, of course also the Mayan sites. The tour was interesting but the price too expensive!!! We ended up having a picnic between the cars in the parking lot, which was very nicely done and lovingly arranged.

What a great tour of some amazing Mayan ruins. Our driver & tour guild were excellent & professional. Well worth the cost. Saw seceral monkeys while in jungle plus on road saw a turkey, pheasant, & couple mammals which our driver stopped for. So cool!

Exploring Calakmul was an incredibly unique experience. It felt like a trip back in time, with incredible views and the chance to see some amazing wildlife. We were very lucky to have Manuel who was an excellent guide and a fountain of knowledge for all the flora, fauna and Mayan history. Can't recommend this trip highly enough.

Tour as expected - excellent I enjoyed the food and cold water/coke at the end. Guide and driver excellent (apologies forgot names) English language was perfect which made up for my inadequate espanol. Gave insight and personal opinions/stories which were really welcomed Highly recommended. Was the only official tour we did of any of the archaeological sites and glad we picked this one. Thankyou. We are a group of 5 Italian guys, we did a guided tour with Manuel as guide and two other Italians. We found ourselves very well both for the transport, very punctual, both with the guide itself. Manuel was good in explaining, nice and thoughtful: since during the tour we had not been able to see either tapirs or monkeys he lengthened the walk by 15 minutes to show us in a point from which we usually do not pass. Lunch was simple but good, and there were plenty of drinks to cool off. Highly recommended! Especially with Manuel as a guide

Experience visiting Calakmul excellent. Ivan, the driver, very helpful and punctual to pick us up from the hotel. The highly trained Ezekiel guide on the Mayan world and the animal and plant world, being an expert ornithologist. Very complete in answering every question and introducing visitors to Mexican culture. It included lunch. Very recommended. You can also see monkeys, turkeys, tapirs.

The tour was amazing. The weather was hot but we got the necessary (water and snacks) to go through the tour. Ezechiel, a local tour guide, makes sure to give all informations and answers all questions about the ancient site and mayan culture and makes sure everyone it's fine and enjoy the tour. He also knows a lot about the biosphere and try to show as many animal he can. For sure you will se monkeys, birds and others animals. For the jaguars and pumas depends. At the end we also got a simple but tasty lunch included. Everything it's super worth it.
