Pretty sure our bookings got mixed up. Signed up for the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo, and Bazaar. Instead we were brought to cave church of St. Simon and had to ask to go to the bizarre. While it was overall a beautiful church and lovely to see, we didn’t get lunch and certainly overpaid for what we received without the museum passes. The guide was also brash and hard to understand.

We had the chance to visit the Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo with Nasser, who worked with Jean-Philippe Lauer in Saqqara. A real well of science and very considerate. Beautiful visit

We had a great time with Hanan. She was very informative about the beautiful Coptic churches, and introduced us to the Civilisation Museum which was fascinating. This was great because we hadn't known about it before. We enjoyed a nice lunch together, and she made sure that we had vegetarian food to accommodate our specific dietary requirements. She also arranged for us to stop at a shop to buy something that we wanted. Everything that you want from a private tour and more because, along with so much knowledge, Hanan had a fantastic personality. We would definitely tour with her again.

The Egyptian Museum of Cairo holds great treasures and impresses by the richness of artifacts and the grandiosity of the statues. The mask of Tutankhamun is the most impressive. The Coptic neighborhood touches us for its relationship with Christian religion. Ostemplos built over the sacred places makes us excited. The Bazar is the feast of those interested in shopping for local culture
