Daphne-san, the receptionist, tactfully showed us around and showed us around that each cuddle was already booked but we could take a family photo with one cuddle. The koala cuddle was instant, but it was so cute and I loved the way it went back to the tree. My sons, ages 10 and 8, played with water toys next to the reception desk several times.

The Koalas were so cute but the time to carry them is too short due to the 30mins limit for each Koala. Would love to touch them more next time if there is another chance!

10/10 recommend! The staff is friendly and inviting. They show care for their animals and while there were tons of people there for photos, it was smooth quick and successful process. Daphne made my kids feel welcome

Madam Daphne, the receptionist, kindly followed up on our misbooking, so we were able to safely get inside the facility and photograph it with the koalas:) The two female staff members in the filming corner were also very friendly:)He told me the name of a baby koala (its name is Minty) and he made me pet him. Thanks to the kindness of the care workers, we were able to take a photo with the koalas safely. This will be a lifetime memory! I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

We had an amazing time at the Cairns Kaplan and creatures we were so lucky Daphne helped us with a last minute booking and we loved holding the Koala bear it was the highlight of our stay

While the place is small, the guide was terrific and super knowledgeable. The time in the koala enclosure was amazing. The entire staff super friendly. Should go for a couple of hours if you are in Cairns.

Awesome friendly staff who were so welcoming and especially great with my daughter. Getting to hold a Koala, Bearded Dragon and Python were trip highlights for us.
