We had an awesome experience with Katakolon Private Tours. We booked only 2 days before and confirmation was immediate and payment was easy. Our driver Giannas was awesome! He was super communicative from the time we were connected with him. He gave us tips for avoiding the heat and crowds at Olympia. Gianna’s also was flexible with the schedule and allowed us to change it around based off what the group wanted to do. As a local, his general knowledge of the area and stories were worth price. We could have stayed in the van all day and gotten our money’s worth learning about Greece.

We had a wonderful experience! On time pick up at the port in a comfortable Mercedes Van. Akis provided very informative and interesting facts. He was very hospitable and accommodating. We visited Olympia, where you are able to download their free app providing a narrative of all important points, in the language of your choice. Then visited the city with cute shops and caffès. We stopped in an olive oil press and winery. Our cruise stop was short so we did not have time for anything else, then back to the port on time .

Sotos was our driver and he was awesome. Completely flexible and wanted to make the best experience we could have. Took us down to a beach and recommended a local restaurant that was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Theo was an amazing guide and educator. Allowed us to change our tour half way through and even gave us some home made olive oil! What a legend.

Our guide had amazing knowledge of history. He is a walking encyclopedia. Helped us during our tour with a person who had issues walking. Very accommodation .

They pick you up from the port in a nice air conditioned van. Very friendly and welcoming. Also flexible with options for where to visit other than ancient Olympia. We really enjoyed the Olive oil press, very informative and we were able to buy gifts there too. San Andreas beach was gorgeous. Easy to get us back to boat on time. Great family day!

Olympia tour: precise pickup at the port, comfortable and cool vehicle (with the heat of the period it was imperative), very deep and impressive historical knowledge, he provided us with a lot of information both on the visit to Olympia and on the museum. He then took us to a small but very nice beach where we had a nice swim in a crystal-clear sea. Very attentive to the timing (for cruise passengers it is not a small concern...), he made sure that the complete tour respected the times. We had our 80-year-old aunt with us and he was considerate of her. Very good and reliable.

Our private tour with Mamousis & our driver “Bill” Vassilis was one of the best of our trip. We toured with them during our day in Katakolon during a cruise to Greece. Vassilis was always on time with nice, spacious vehicle. He had an awesome attitude and always made us laugh. Our favorite part was how they were able to customize our itinerary. When we asked to add on the VR experience to our tour of Olympia, it was no problem. When we asked the just the pick up time from the site, it was no problem. They also had great recommendations. When we asked for a local meal, Vassilis took us to an amazing restaurant with a great view. We were the only tourists there when we entered! Likewise, when we asked for a natural beach rather than a crowded one, he took us to a gorgous spot. We would tour with Vassilis & Mamousis again, don’t miss out!
