We were a group of friends and chose the right tour to get to know the life of the city. The excursion lasted one hour, and we visited Lekursi Castle, which has the most beautiful view in Saranda.

A must see! If you are into centuries of history you will love this site. Set in a stunningly beautiful forest and partially enclosed by a lake, I could have spent all day there. The small museum has busts of Augustus, Agrippa, and a few other famous Romans whose names are escaping me at the moment (not allowed to take photos). Our guide Doria was very knowledgeable and considerate. I highly recommend coming to this area in the shoulder seasons. No crowds and the temperature is very comfortable. It makes for an enjoyable experience!

We traveled as a group to Butrint, and their guide met us at the entrance of the site at the scheduled time. She was very cooperative and kept us entertained. We also appreciated her sense of humor.

The best part of this tour was that it was a small group. It was my second time visiting Butrint after 15 years, and I consider it a wonderful experience. Butrint remains a truly special and captivating place.

Albania is full of history, and the Butrint Archaeological Park proves this in the best possible way. I chose Saranda Destination because I was attracted by its focus on history and archaeology. It was definitely worth it. A relaxing walk through this park is the best experience! Nothing negative to mention.
