We had a nice tour as a family. What was especially nice was our guide Serve. She spoke English or tried and made sure we had a good time, understood what was intended and arrived safely at the bus again. Besides our family there were two more Italians in a bus further with Chinese travelers. The wall was very quiet. We were almost alone. And it was nicely illuminated once the sun had set.
We hebben een fijne tour beleefd als gezin. Wat vooral fijn was was onze gids Diendien. Ze sprak Engels of probeerde het en zorgde ervoor dat wij een goede tijd hadden, begrepen wat de bedoeling was en weer veilig bij de bus aankwamen. Naast ons gezin waren er nog twee Italianen in een bus verder met Chineze reizigers. De muur was heel rustig. We waren bijna alleen. En deze werd mooi verlicht toen de zon eenmaal onder was.
Guide Jackie Chan was wonderful. He taught us a lot of things and we learned very interesting things. A friendly, fun and very friendly guide. He helped us even after the visit. I loved it.

Guide Ami, super involved as the tour was cancelled several times due to a storm and had to assemble and disassemble it several times, very attentive. The spectacular wall, to be able to see it with light and at night.

Visiting the Great Wall of China was an unforgettable experience. The tour was well-organized, starting with a scenic drive from Beijing to the Mutianyu section, which was less crowded and surrounded by lush green mountains. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about the Wall’s history, construction, and strategic importance. Climbing the steep steps was challenging but incredibly rewarding — the panoramic views from the top were breathtaking. There were plenty of photo opportunities, and the cable car option made the descent easier. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting China. It’s truly a must-see wonder of the world!
