Brighton Sweet Treats Food Tour : ドーナツ、スイート・トリーツ、紅茶

We will definitely do this tour again. The staff was so accommodating and helpful with our time mix up. The result was we had the absolutely lovely Alex as our guide. Alex took us to cute little independent 'Do nut' and Tea emporiums up and down vibrant little lanes in Brighton layered with witty historical stories. Our afternoon was less like a traditional boring tour but more like meeting a resident Brightonian girlfriend who's love for the city and 'Do nuts' made the afternoon all the more fun with a layer of sweet yumminess.!!

I loved it. Beautiful walk throughout Brighton (loveeeeed the Laine area especially with all the shops), delicious desserts (and drink) and our guide Joe was wonderful. Really good idea for friends and couples alike (or even for a solo date, why not :-)!! ).

Me and my friends had a great time on the Brighton Donut Tour! Our guide was Joe, who was so sweet, very funny and knowledgeable and he tailored the information to our interests. As a vegan, I’m always a bit worried in terms of options, but Joe showed us the best vegan doughnuts and introduced me to an incredible coconut sorbet, my favorite flavour! The two hours flew by and all the facts, hints and tips that Joe gave us will not be forgotten in a hurry.

My friends and I were looking for something different to do in Brighton and, wow, did we make the right choice! We were given a warm welcome by Joe, our guide, and the fun started from there. What followed was two hours of some of the best doughnuts I’ve ever had, mixed in with fascinating local knowledge. I’ve been to Brighton many times but I still learnt so much. It was really heartening to learn about how Ken Fines saved the character of Brighton and the lanes, and to hear some of the hilarious anecdotes about Brighton pavilion. If I had to pick a favourite doughnut, it would be the white chocolate crumble doughnut from Love Gelato- but they were honestly all fantastic! This was all thanks to Joe who was knowledgeable, funny, and clearly very passionate about the local bakeries and Brighton as a whole. The tour is a must-do on your visit!

Tour guide: Joe Good tour, it was only me in attendance which I wasn’t exactly thrilled about. The meeting place was easy to find, Joe was a really knowledgeable, laid back guide and I saw parts of Brighton I’d missed on my previous visits and learned so much about the cities history. It was a good tour, generally, and one I’d recommend.

Alex was the best! She was so nice and knowledgeable about the history of Brighton. The donuts were so delicious! We would highly recommend for Brighton visitors!

Our walk through the Brighton Lanes with Alex (tour guide) was delightful. Alex was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The surprise visit to Bird Blend tea shop was an excellent addition to wash down the donuts. We all had a great time.

Had a great time on this tour, got to try some great donuts and tea! Both of which I will be happy to find again in the future. I even learnt some information about Brighton that I didn't know, and I've lived here for 38 years haha!
