We had a wonderful experience visiting Borobudur and Prambanan with our private driver. He was extremely punctual, kind, and professional throughout the entire day. He accompanied us during every excursion and made sure everything went smoothly and comfortably. Traveling with him was very easy and stress-free, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated his helpfulness and friendly attitude. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-organized private tour!
Booked directly with operator, that sometimes can be hit and miss. However, this was a hit. Communication was clear and prompt. Our guide/driver Razka met us spot on agreed time at our hotel in a clean car and took us on an exciting but also exhausting day trip. He was polite ready to answer questions, not overbearing but friendly and ready to chat if you wish so. He gave insights into Yogyakarta and some basic info on the two temples. He was accommodating to our requests (not that there were many) and made our long hot day a pleasant and enjoyable one. Highly recommended! P.S. days in Yohyakarta in any season ( and August is dry) are hot. The tour brings you to Prambanan temple in the afternoon - about 2PM. For an elderly couple in their early 70s, it is a looong and exhausting day. It would make more sense to split the 2 temples in two days and do them in the morning and finish by noon. High stairs in both temples and heat take their toll.

We booked our tour directly with the tour operator on short notice. Razka, our driver, did an impeccable job. The initial pickup time was 7am but we were able to flexibly change it to 7:30am so we could have breakfast beforehand. He also let us know that there was a music festival at Prambanan temple in the afternoon hence we changed itinerary and it turned out to be the best decision as we escaped the crowds completely in both temples. As it was only my boyfriend and I we were able to request stops on the way to get coffee or a snack. Razka also brought us to a coffee plantation and bought us fruit on the way just because he wanted to give us an idea about the taste - it was really sweet. We enjoyed our time thoroughly. A very good day overall. We got picked-up on time at the hotel, our driver was very kind and told us a lot of things about Indonesia and the area. The temples visits were a great experience. Our driver ERVAD ARYANTO was very friendly and kind from the start of the day until the very end. He stayed with us the whole time, and getting into the temples was quick and easy. He was also very attentive, providing us with water, soft drinks, and even a small gift, since he knew we really love coffee. It was a perfect day! :)
