Two stops in town before a journey of just over an hour to the river. Our guide was excellent. The lunch was nice and overall the trip was great value for money. Recommended.

A lot packed into 8 hours - start with a visit to the floating mosque (RM5 for clothing to go inside), then visit to a chocolate factory (with sampling), then a 1’15” drive to Bongawan. Stated with tea and coffee, and then a trip on a small boat to see the proboscis monkeys (we had plenty of time and saw a lot). Then back to the restaurant for dinner. After that, we took the same boat to the sea, for the sunset and ‘fireworks’, before returning back up the river, with fireflies along the way. Lots packed into, Eddie was great, and had a fantastic time.

From start to finish everything was explained to us and we were well taken care of by our guide Timmy. Clear explanations and interesting facts at the Floating Mosque and the Chocolate Factory. Delicious 'high tea' and lunch at the cafe by the river, and Timmy and his team made every effort to ensure we saw all the wild life possible - which can never be guaranteed. But we saw both the macaques and probscis monkeys, as well as a monitor lizard catching his own enormous dinner! Sunset at the beach was sensational in colours and cloud formations, and the clouds of fireflies on the river journey back provided a magical end to the trip. We were dropped off back at our hotel delighted with our day👍😁 Thank you to Timmy and all the team involved!

Timmy was an awesome guide, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. All the sites were great and the value for money was excellent considering you get transportation, all tickets (except a nominal 5 MYR for the mosque optional entry) and a home cooked dinner! Locals are all very friendly and seem genuinely pleased to see visitors. On the downside, no fault of the tour operator, the mangroves in the river had far bit of plastic (not excessive but noticeable) and the petrol fumes from the boat engines may make some more uncomfortable that others.

Our guide was wonderful. As a solo travel he made dure to introduce me to everyone else so we could all be a group. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and competent

Our tour guide was named Timmy and he was excellent. He had a lot of background knowledge about the religion, culture, and the animals involved. He was always very accommodating and truly tried to please each of his guests. During the river cruise, we saw three families of proboscis monkeys, some macaques, and many monitor lizards. I would do this tour again anytime and can therefore recommend it.

Timmy is a nice guide and let us know more about Coco and Mangrove. We are so lucky to see Proboscis Monkey and fireflies。

Our tour guide was great…really knowledgeable and fun! Our group were all really nice and we enjoyed all the stops: mosque, chocolate factory, river cruise (loads of monkeys!), fab dinner and the sunset was amazing, followed by the fireflies who put on a great show for us! Would highly recommend.

This is a fabulous tour, well planned and a great mix of activities. John was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, patient and fun. Wildlife tours can be tricky with no guarantee of seeing animals in their natural habitat but John and our 'spotter' did everything possible amd we were rewarded with Proboscis Monkeys, a Crocodile, Asian Monitor Lizard and gorgeous fireflies. The beach sunset is a lovely way to round out the tour. I highly recommend this and would do it again in an instant.

This tour was worth it, our guide Eddie was amazing and helpful and very experienced. We saw the proboscis monkeys and fireflies and it was amazing.
