Fantastic tour. Learnt so much about Biggie and his mates. Marcus knows his stuff! Full of energy, and very entertaining - he's a very witty guy.

The tour was amazing, learned a lot about Biggie and other rappers. Marcus was a great tour guide and former radio host. Marcus has met a lot of rappers in his time and was happy to share his encounters with us during the tour. My family and I really enjoyed the tour and got our cardio work out for the week.

Booked this tour already knowing alot about Biggie'a history... Not only was it really special to be in the places we've read about but Marcus exceeded our expectations with stories we had never heard. This tour blends hip-hop history, local Brooklyn culture, and storytelling in the best way possible. Marcus was deeply knowledgeable about Biggie’s life and the neighborhoods he grew up in, and so great at weaving stories that made every stop feel meaningful. Whether you’re a longtime Biggie fan or just hip-hop history, Marcus brings the experience alive with details, context, and personality that you can’t get from a book or screen. We walked through iconic Brooklyn spots that shaped Biggie’s early years from places referenced in his lyrics to murals and landmarks that honor his legacy today. It was such a cool way to understand the environment that influenced one of hip-hop’s greatest. The pace was perfect — informative without being rushed, and just long enough to keep us fully immersed. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NYC especially if you love music, culture, and stories that stick with you long after the walk ends. Definitely a 5-star experience!

By far the best walking tour I’ve ever been on. Marcus was brilliant and knew everything there was to know about Biggie and the Brooklyn areas. For a fan like me it was so interesting to learn new things about him and where he grew up but my family (who aren’t huge fans) loved the tour and were just as involved because Marcus was including them so well. The tour was a perfect length as we weren’t rushing everywhere and took time in places that we wanted to, but it didn’t take a full day up. 10/10 would recommend and hope to be back soon. We love old-school hip hop, and taking the NYC Biggie Smalls tour with tour guide Marcus Hillman was like walking and talking with a hilarious, versatile, knowledgeable friend. We’ve done many tours in many places, but when you’re on a walking tour and the conversation is appealing and every word holds interest, it makes a difference. We can honestly say we learned so much more than just about Biggie but about Brooklyn itself. This tour speaks volumes, and it’s definitely one for the books. We highly recommend Marcus if you want to know more about hip hop and beyond, and you never know who you’ll run into along the way with him ( we met Spike Lee 🥰). We definitely will tour with him again.
