We had a fabulous time with Valérie on the gourmet tour of Biarritz. She was very warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the area. We learnt so much about the Biarritz and basque region and the delicacies on offer. I would highly recommend booking Valérie for an exceptional insight of Biarritz.

Great guide, professional & truly lovely! She only does her tours in small groups, which makes the visit much more pleasant: there were only 5 of us! Valérie was a charming, fun and extremely knowledgeable guide. We loved tasting the local cheese, meat, wine, sweets and chocolate, and learning about the proud food traditions, craftsmanship, history and architecture of Biarritz - we could never have appreciated the city in the same way without her insight. She took very good care of our multigenerational group, especially my 83 year old dad, who struggled a little with all the walking. We were also very grateful for the accommodations she made for of those of us with food allergies. I would definitely join Valérie for another tour and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Valerie was an excellent guide - friendly, knowledgeable and fun. She really made the gastronomy and culture of the Basque Country shine. Her English was excellent. Bear in mind there isn’t a huge amount of food on the tour, so do have breakfast before starting.

We had a pleasant walk with Valerie through the town of Biarritz. We were able to sample chocolates and local delicacies along the way, and also got a lot of interesting background information about the city.

What a fabulous day! Valerie could not have been a better tour guide today. But it started even before that. As soon as I booked, she contacted me on WhatsApp to let me know that we are set. She told me exactly where to meet, and I was surprised that morning to find out that I was the only person on the tour, so it was so personal and so fantastic when she asked if I wanted it in French or English, I asked for English, but we also got a few good French lessons I was able to speak and communicate with her and ask some questions about certain things with the language. But I have to tell you she made the city of Biarritz come alive for me. Usually when I’m in a new city, I like to take a tour as soon as I arrive that didn’t work out and so I took the tour on my last day and it was really a perfect way to end everything because all the beautiful buildings and places I had seen before were suddenly put into context. It is hard to pick a favorite part, but I think it would probably have to be when we ended our tour at Les Halles. Everyone there knew her and greeted her warmly. And she was fantastic with our little picnic. I would say with ham and cheese and wine. It couldn’t have been more French and couldn’t have been more perfect. I will highly recommend her and I will make sure that anyone I know who goes to Biarritz will book a tour with her
