The tour is fantastic, you visit 3 gorgeous cities. The guides were very friendly and their knowledge of the area made this experience much better. Recommended 100%
It is very difficult for me to give a fair assessment of this tour as we didn't get what we booked. We were collected from the agreed point @ 08-10 (10 mins late) by the coach driver, the guide, Alessia, didn't join us until the first stopping point. (Monopoli) because this is her home town. She then told us that we wouldn't be taking to the water as it was too choppy on the water but it would now be a walking tour, using the coach to ferry is from town to town instead of the boat. This was unacceptable, Alessia should have been at the pick up point with this information so we could have made the decision whether or not we still wanted to participate. Everyone had bought swimming gear as the boat trip was the main point of the day. We visited the towns as schedules and they were very pretty and definitely worth a visit but it was very hot and the extra walking was hard work. After the final visit we left for home but detoured to Monopoli so we could drop the guide off so she wasn't inconvenienced but added 15/20 mins to our return journey. Our 'compensation' for the tour not being as advertised was to stop at a poky street corner cafe and be bought a pizza slice ! I would like my money returned.
Good tour.... Just a pity that the weather cancelled the boat trip. Alessia was very friendly and gave plenty of info.
First stop Polignano a Mare, and a boat tour exploring the scenic coastline, and the many caves including Grotta Palazzese an iconic dining experience inside a cave followed by a stroll on the historic center's balconies, where every alley and terrace provides stunning views of the crystal clear sea, Lama Monachile beach, Red Bull Cliff Diving, and the statue of Domenico Modugno, singer and co-writer of the iconic hit song Volare. Monopoli is the next stop, a lively fishing village lined with many blue gizmo boats, and lunch. Ostuni is the final stop, known as the White City, the Ostuni Blue Door (La Porta Blu or Porta Azzurra), an iconic blue door framed by whitewashed walls and vibrant green cacti is a staple of Italian travel photography.
Excellent experience, very friendly and attentive the bus driver and the guide, I highly recommend this excursion.
The boat trip in Polignano was lovely and the skipper was adorable. The other trips in Monopoli and Ostuni were in a big rush.Anyway was a good time.
