Ishida Katsuya provided an exceptional experience in Tokyo. His pre-tour questionnaire helped to tailor our itinerary based on our preferences. Additionally, he asked our preferences for sightseeing and transportation around the city. We traveled by commuter trains, subways and taxis getting around Tokyo quickly and efficiently. Ishida’s expertise saved us time; avoided our getting lost or confused while using Tokyo’s vast public transportation system. He met us at the Tokyo Cruise Ship Terminal at the appointed time. Our itinerary consisted of a visit to the observation deck of Tokyo Tower, a ramen lunch at the Tower’s food court, Shibuya Crossing, a walk down The Ginza and through the East Garden of the Imperial Palace. During our tour, Ishida provided commentary about the sites we visited, giving us historical, cultural and contemporary Japanese perspectives. He took care of our expenses during the day, buying train & subway tickets, ordering lunch and paying for taxis & entrances to all sites. Naturally, we reimbursed him at the end of the day. He conveniently accepted a credit card and charged us a minimum fee for using it. I highly recommend Ishida Katsuya’s services as a tour guide through Tokyo.

We left the ship in Yokohama in the pouring rain, grabbed a taxi and headed to the train station. ISHIDA, our guide in Yokohalma and Tokyo was there waiting for us. From there, we boarded the subway and made our way to Tokyo. He communicated with us continuously and even gave me the message in Japanese to give to the taxi driver. If you want someone that gives 150 percent to make sure that you have an amazing experience, this is your guy.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day with Ishida . He picked us up at our hotel and proceeded to give us his knowledge and experience of the city of Tokyo. The day was a great pleasure for us both . We would highly recommend a day spent with this gentleman. A true treasure.

My wife and I had a fantastic tour of Tokyo, and many thanks for that to our guide ISHIDA! He coordinated the itinerary with us well in advance and it came up as wonderful day trip. ISHIDA picked us up from the Yokohama Osanbashi Cruise Terminal, walked us to the nearest station, where we caught train to Tokyo. His knowledge of Tokyo, as well as the City public transportation was amazing! We visited Shibuya Crossing and Hachiko Statue, Tokyo Tower, Ameyoko Market, Tokyo Station. The great addition to the tour was a walk in the most famous place to see Cherry Blossom, Ueno Park. At the end we had a fantastic ride on Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to get back to Yokohama. ISHIDA spoke great English and kept us entertained with numerous stories and important historical facts. It was enjoyable day trip. We can highly recommend ISHIDA as a tour guide!

Ishida was amazing. Lots of contact before our trip to discuss our tour plans. He picked us up from the cruise terminal which made it so easy for our trip. With our guide Ishida we experienced a great one in Tokyo and we saw a lot in a short time. Also the public transport was uncomplicated and pleasant.

Ishida was our excellent guide - he was very informative about the sights we had chosen, answered all of our questions, and was very personable. We learned a lot, especially how thankful we were to have an expert navigate all the trains/subways. And we were fortunate to have nice weather for the day. He patiently took us to every sight, shopping area and temple we wanted then to an amazing, inexpensive lunch spot. He personalized every aspect of our trip.
