ガムレハウゲンはベルゲンの王宮で、市のすぐ南のノルドスヴァネット湖畔にある。 1900年に建てられた優雅な白い邸宅は、ノルウェー語王室がベルゲンを訪れた際の公邸として使われている。 美しい庭園と公園に囲まれ、ベルゲンの「小さな王宮」と呼ばれることも多い。
最初の目的地は美しい滝「モルクホルスフォッセン」です。 周辺は短いハイキングや自然散策に最適です。 川沿いの風光明媚な小道は、滝の美しさが存分に発揮される最高の展望台へと導きます。 駆け足の水の音が雰囲気を支配し、ピクニックや写真撮影、あるいは静寂に浸るだけの落ち着いた背景を作り出します。
最初の滝から車でわずか5分のところにあるフォッセン・ブラッテ（Fossen Bratte）という滝に立ち寄ります。この滝は、エレガントな白いしぶきから「花嫁のヴェール」とも呼ばれ、印象的な80 mの落差と谷に響く力強い咆哮で知られています。 現在は滝の裏側をトンネルで通過しているが、駐車後は旧道を辿って滝の頂上まで行くことができる。 また、逆の道を行くこともできます。この壮大なカスケードの底まで下り、水の強さを真に感じることができます。 ガイドが常に同行し、道を探し、最高の写真を撮り、最高の体験を楽しむお手伝いをします。 今日は滝の裏側のトンネルを車で走るが、駐車すると古い道を使って滝の頂上まで行ける。 また、逆の方向に移動することもできます。この壮大な滝の底まで下ります。
ベルゲンへの帰路はクヴァムスコーゲンを通り、森や湖、開けた高原の風景を眺めながら、街に戻ります。

Highly recommended experience! Despite the rain, Ian and Even were a fantastic guide and driver and they took us to wonderful places! Do not miss the beautiful Steinsdalsfossen as well as the fjord! Not to mention all the very interesting information that Ian gave us about Norway, its culture and its traditions. Very good!!!!

This is an amazing journey through the countryside around Bergen. We saw several beautiful waterfalls, fjords and lakes. We also stopped at a very interesting factory that makes Viking style boats.

I was a little nervous after reading some reviews, but we were very happy after taking this tour. Yes, you spend some time on a bus, but that should be expected when touring Norway. Our tour took us to some incredible waterfalls, a neat boat building spot, and some other beautiful views. We were all impressed with the tour, the bus and our guide. This was a great experience and I highly recommend it. But please understand, you are in Norway, it may rain, you may have to hike to areas for views, and the bus ride can be longer. This trip was well worth it for my family.

Enjoyed this tour of fjord and waterfalls with beautiful views and nice guide. Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall was my favorite as enjoyed walking so close behind the waterfall. Ferry ride across the fjord was scenic and peaceful. Apple farm was more of a stopover to seat and unwind with a warm drink and tasty apple pie.

Just to clarify for future guests: in the 2026 season, this tour includes three waterfalls and a visit to the living maritime centre in Norheimsund, where apple pie is served. The ferry crossing mentioned in this review is included on our Scenic Hardangerfjord tour with Lunch.
The tour description is accurate. The visit to the maritime museum that demonstrates the traditional boat building techniques was most interesting. The bus we travelled in was a little cramped. The tour guide was good and the driver got us there and back without incident.
Beautiful scenery, great guide and the apple pie / museum were an added bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed the various waterfalls.
An excellent tour, with spectacular scenery. We stopped at 3 waterfalls and the museum where we had some excellent apple cake and a short stop to see some iron age and bronze age stone carvings. The waterfalls were excellent and our guide was great. It's a shame that there wasn't a brief stop (or 2), to take In some of the scenery but, overall, an excellent day out.
