Belizean Bits & Bites Food Tastings and City Tour in Belize

Great way to learn and understand the RICH history of the city and try great local city food. My favorite part was the Rum Factory!

Do not book! They provided vague instructions on how to meetup with the tour guide. When I reached out through messenger and by phone I received no response. Contacted the Viator chat who also reach out to the touring company on my behalf, they also received no response. Now I must wait 3-5 business days for a refund. I would suggest booking excursions through your hotel or through a taxi/tour guide in person. I booked 3 excursions and had two refunded because of no shows. They accepted payment then do t bother showing up.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Kenton! He was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job sharing the history and culture of Belize with us throughout the tour. He took us around both the North and South sides of Belize City and made several stops along the way, giving us a chance to see and experience different parts of the city. One of my favorite stops was the local ice cream shop, where we were able to sample as many flavors as we wanted before choosing what we wanted to purchase. It was such a fun and unexpected part of the tour! Kenton was friendly, informative, and made sure we had a great experience from beginning to end. We really enjoyed learning about Belize and seeing the city through his perspective. If you’re visiting Belize City, I highly recommend booking a tour with Kenton!

My 3rd time with the Food Tour. Each time the restaurants change a little. Always good choices. This tour there were 5 of us in our group. 3 of the 5 were first time visitors to San Pedro. One of the absolute best features of the tour is introducing you the different foods available in San Pedro. Jamil our guide was Fantastic! Jamil's knowledge of the history of the establishments we visited truly added to the experience. one of the best values, one of the best excursions on the island. Especially for first time visitors

This was a great tour. Manuel, was my guide and he was awesome. He gave me a tour of Belize city, "the good, the bad, and the ugly" . He showed me around town and answered any questions that I had about the history of Belize. I was by myself, and so it was great to have guide who knew so much. The food places we stopped were awesome! Places that I would never normally stop by on my own, but now I want to go back. Manuel even took me to one of the markets there, because I was craving mangos. It was only a couple hours, but it was really fun. He even dropped me off at the water taxi at the end of the tour, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend.

The city tour is very good. Kenton does a great job of showing the goods and bad of Belize city and is very knowledgeable on all cultural and political aspects of Belize. The rum stop is nice and stopping for any other alcohol or fruit was very accommodating and wonderful. The food tour is by far the worst part of the trip. You are in a van that has limited air-conditioning. We made one stop at one restaurant and he brought us five dishes which nine of us packed inside then ate the food inside the van. I give the city tour and rum tour high marks. Also great guide. I have done food tours all over the world and by far this is the worst.

Manuel was super respectful and nice to us during our tour. In the description of the tour it says lunch would be included. Hot Tamales specifically and that was not given. The van he was driving us in had no ac. It was extremely hot. But overall my group enjoyed the city of Belize and the its foods we were able to try.

I really enjoyed the food tour! The food was very good. Aaron was knowledgeable and very professional! Will do the tour again the next time I visit Belize City.

Our tour guide Kenton (hope I spelled that correctly) was great. We had a mess trying to get off our ship but he waited and communicated with us. He did a great tour and made sure we didn’t miss our last tender. We ate fresh fruit, tacos, empanadas, Tostitos, ice cream, and sampled rum. Loved the panty ripper. It’s a must. Kenton answered all our questions and made any stop we wanted for photo ops. We had a great day.
