I gave it 3 stars because u really did not need a tour for this activity. U can actually take a cab to the lake yourself and just wander around. Boat ride was nothing special.
We are sorry that our tour experience did not meet your expectations. Our private chartered boat service offers a distinctive experience, and the Yunnan‑style restaurant we visited enjoys great reviews and high rankings on Tripadvisor. Our English‑speaking tour guide also provides in‑depth historical commentary throughout the trip. We understand your point that it is possible to take a taxi to the lake and explore on your own. Our tour is designed for guests who prefer arranged transportation, local dining and guided historical explanations, rather than self‑planning. Thank you for your honest feedback.
Anson was a great guide. Friendly, knowledgeable and with a lovely sense of humour. We had an excellent meal and had fun walking around the market area afterwards. My only gripe is that the advertising for the boat trip overplayed what that trip actually was and as a result made the overall trip overpriced. That said Anson was great and the meal was great.
A beautiful paddle boat on a lake in the middle of Beiging. Then a Chinese cultural dinner. On to a tour of the local hutongs. A delightful evening tour with Lucy

We wanted a night tour for our first night in Beijing. We had a lovely night with Lucy our tour guide. Lucy showed us around and introduced us to some delicious local dishes at a local restaurant. We then had a boat ride with more refreshments and then a walk around a local hutong. I would highly recommend this tour and would like to thank Lucy for making our first night wonderful. recommend this tour.
<p>I picked this tour for a romantic night out with my wife. It was exactly what I wanted. The restaurant was fantastic, the tour guide Bibi was amazing in every way. Not only was she knowledgeable, she had a great sense of humor, and was a great photographer. The boat ride itself was quite private as there were not too many other boats I think most of the tours happen during the day time. This tour was worth every penny.</p>
