We spent a beautiful day during the Prison Island, Nakupenda, and Stone Town tour. We had a really good time and everything was organized very well. A special thanks to our guide Abu, very good, very kind, and above all very fluent in Italian. He accompanied us during the visit, explaining all the details, history, and curiosities of the city with great clarity. His preparation made the visit to Stone Town even more interesting and comprehensive. Nakupenda is simply wonderful, a truly spectacular place. The visit to Prison Island was also very nice, interesting, and well organized. An absolutely recommended tour for those who want to discover the beauties and history of Zanzibar. Thanks again to Abu for his professionalism and kindness!

We did all our excursions during our vacation in Zanzibar with Zan Excursions and were delighted with them. We had a French-speaking guide each time. Nice experience if you are looking for something different while you are relaxing in your resort. Mohammed was a great guide Spanish speaker. They all were on time and we would repeat this experience with them.

The tour to prison island and Nakupenda sand bank was very nice. I booked for these two excursions. What i didn’t know was the added passengers had Stone Town added to their booking. I did not. I was told by Mohammed that their StoneTown tour would be 20-30 mins. So i said I’d wait for them to return to head back to the hotel. They made me wait OVER 1 1/2hrs sitting OUTSIDE by the docks/pier waiting and waiting. I was furious! I demanded they take me back to my hotel. That ruined the trip as i had to sit sooo long itchy from the sand and salt water. I missed my dinner reservation at St Tropez to watch the sunset since we didn’t return to my hotel until 6:45pm! That ruined the entire day!
Thank you Rita for having participated in our group, we strongly regret the incidence, it's true that the incidence happened, and there was miscommunication between members of our team, had the main operator communicated well with tour guide, we would never do that, but lack of information made us make this mistake, we take full responsibility of the incidence and we communicated with you to offer something in free as sign of good will but you had no time remain in Zanzibar, we will take strong concern on your review not to repeat something like this again. Great activity, Ramadan took great care of us; however, Nakupenda is a bit too touristy for our taste. There were a lot of people, but we enjoyed it well Thank you to Ramadan and Zan Excursions
