Great Walters Peak Farm Experience
The steam boat was an amazing experience, travelling through the beautiful waters and wonderful scenery. Walters Peak Farm is breathtaking and the bbq lunch was more than expected. Would definitely recommend the tour.

Scenic Cruise on Beautiful Historic Steam Ship with Sumptuous Gourmet BBQ Lunch!
The beautiful historic steam ship cruise on the Wakatipu Lake was scenic. You can walk around the ship upper and lower deck and learn how it is operated. Beverage and a snacks can be purchased on board. We stopped at Walter Peak for a sumptuous BBQ lunch. Not your typical BBQ but a good spread of food with appetisers, salads, main course and desserts! Wasn’t expecting all that delicious food! You get to wander around the farm after lunch and watch sheep being sheared. Everything was well organised and we enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend this activity while in Queenstown! Also worth mentioning the staff at RealNZ office in Queenstown was wonderful. I had double booked the activity and she was so helpful to arrange cancellation of the double booking and reminded me to follow up to ensure I get my refund. Thank you all for a great experience!

Walter's Peak. Wow!
From start to finish, this was a fabulous experience! The ship, and it's history made it unique. The dinner experience, especially the grilled meats, was the best that we've had in NZ so far. The sheep farming and shearing explanation was very informative and then came Mia and her remarkable demonstration of sheep herding, which was really something to see. We highly recommend this experience when visiting Queenstown!

Lovely day at Walter Peak Station
We really loved this experience, the BBQ Lunch was delicious and the working sheep dog show was great, we learnt a lot. The lovely TSS Earnshaw was like taking a step back in time. It was a smooth cruise and facilities were exceptional.

Traveling on the Earnshaw...
Traveling on the Earnshaw Steam Sip is such a great experience. And then the food, just amazing and the farm so beautiful. Something you just must do when in Queenstown.

10/10 recommend!
“Absolute peak”, is how my 20 year old son described it and I have to agree. While the BBQ lunch at Walter Farm was the jewel in the crown, the entire experience was great; price, booking experience, boat ride, tour, farm show and gift shop… Highly recommend!
