Well paced and very informative, Juan adapted his tour to suit our interests and he answered all of our questions brilliantly

We loved our experience with Petra (Carpe Diem Tours). We felt as though we were being guided by a friend. She managed to keep our kids (9 & 10 years old) interested (!), and gave us some flexibility in the pace of the tour. We didn’t feel rushed at all and she gave us lots of interesting info on the Gothic Quarter + El Born, plus suggestions on restaurants, which were awesome. We highly recommend this tour, and hope you get Petra as your guide. My son rated our tour 5 stars. :)

Daniel is fantastic! He is so knowledgeable and funny and sensitive. He told us what was meaningful to him about each place we visited and the emotional tone is part of what I remember as I reflect on the tour— like the kids who are playing in the church square where they had been bombed in an earlier part of history - and how people here give each other roses and books to celebrate Saint George as we discussed it in between the govt buildings and discussing Bakunin and Franco as we looked at the bullet holes in the buildings and how Jewish cemeteries were desecrated and you can see the Hebrew letters in the walls of the buildings from our stones and how Jews had to change their names to animals to convert to Catholicism and how that may have happened to his own family and the first female mayor who replaced the parking lot with a playground for the parents who were standing in line outside her office — amazing tour guide! I just loved it. I don’t think I have ever had such a wonderful tour guide. Thank you!

Excellent experience touring with Danny. He was great at his explanations and his history of the area. You could tell he loves to share it with visitors and takes great pride in his work and the city of Barcelona!

Incredible! Lidia guided us on a personal tour that was unforgettable. I learned a lot about architecture and history of Barcelona. Must do! Highly recommend!!

Lidia was an absolutely fantastic guide. She is very knowledgeable guide and her very humorous versions of Barcelonian history kept everyone well entertained. I highly recommend a tour with Lidia.

This was wonderful. Sonia was delightful. She was cheerful, informative, and funny. She made history fun and interesting. We learned so much. She is a local and an archeology student. The only problem was it was a holiday evening and it was so crowded. It was a challenge not to get lost in the crowd in so areas. But that was the only issue. Love Sonia!

Good little walking tour of the Gothic quarter and introduction to Barcelona and its history. Friendly tour guide. Does not include entrance into the cathedral / churches. Overall, good value for the price.

Jordan was informative and walked us around the beautiful old town part of Barcelona. We had our teenage girls with us and didn't like his cuss words and some of his jokes and some stories were inappropriate. I felt he asked too many questions to the crowd when we just wanted to hear about the area. If you didn't answer him enough, he'd make you feel bad about it. He told us at the beginning of the tour he didn't want to be there and doing the tour and it showed.
