Pack a lunch to allow more time at the lakes. This is not a tour for hikers. The bus on this tour had dirty windows and interior with a poor sound system. The driver augmented the sound system so the front half of bus could hear the narrative. The driver was good, but this was the poorest Viator experience we have had.
Be aware that Viator is a booking service and NOT the actual van/bus that will drive you to the lake. The actual bus that picked us up was not luxury as described in the ad, but rather a school bus with more comfortable seats. Driver was great! Friendly, gave good instructions and info. Ride was good and scenery was outstanding! Price was a little too much given it was an old school bus. Instructions from Viator were not clear and we kept having to ask all the different bus drivers if that was our bus. They should send u the name of the actual bus service. But overall a good experience.
kuya red was great and gave us good suggestions for the best photo spots at each location. despite some guests arriving late at our morning pick up, he made up the time so we got about 1.5 hours at each lake. if you just want to see the lakes, walk around, and maybe do one of the short hikes to the look out points (fairview lookout at lake louise or the rockpile at morraine lake), then this tour is great for that. overall great value for the price and would highly recommend going with red! also - we debated taking one of the afternoon tours instead of the morning (leaving around 3:30pm for potentially less people at each lake), but the 9:30 morning tour worked out for us. we still had plenty of daylight left once we arrived back at banff town to grab a snack, our car, and continue exploring on our own. we visited at the end of june and would love to come back!
Had a really good time. Just the right amount of time at each lake. Our guide, Red, was great! Bigger bus than other tours but comfortable.
Fake guide don’t tust this operator. they are charging amount but not showing up at the spot. please don’t book this tour
Very well organized and made the 2 big attractions of Lake Louise and Lake Morraine very accessible. The tour wad thoughtful and provided a lovely amount of time for visits and hikes in each location. Red, the driver, was very attentive and clear in his communication.
Good way to experience the beauty of Lake Louise and Lake Morraine. Red was a great tour operator who enabled punctuality and a safe and enjoyable experience at each lake by giving us tips on best locations to take in the views and about how long each activity around the lakes may take (canoeing, hiking, walking around the lakeshore). The price is competitive and there is free Wi-Fi on board.
Awesome and a lot of fun with our driver/tour guide Red. He made us feel comfortable all throughout the tour.
