Enjoyable and interesting. Good choice of vineyard, short distance from our pick up point in Toulon. Romain was well informed, and an excellent guide. We visited l’Olivette - thoroughly recommend the tapenade which we bought alongside some excellent wine

Romain was a wealth of knowledge and information about the French Wine industry and the process of making wine. We learned so much about every detail from the planting, soil and growing of the grapes, to the picking, processing and fermentation to bottling, labeling and the rules that govern the production. Romain was an absolute joy to spend the day with. He was a wonderful, kind and fantastic tour guide! He provided safe, timely transportation and we really really enjoyed learning from him!!! We highly recommend this tour and Romain's excellent experience!!

Roman was an outstanding tour guide. He was incredibly accommodating to my husband, who uses a mobility scooter, and made sure the entire experience was seamless and inclusive. His knowledge of the winemaking process was extensive, and I came away having learned so much that was new to me. He was warm, easy to talk to, and made the tour genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Romain was delightful to be with and was obviously in the know about the area as well as the production of wine. We tasted four lovely wines, we met the owner off the vineyard, and we learned about the production from the vineyards to bottle labeling. I would highly recommend this tour, specifically with Romain because of his engagement with us, his knowledge, and his easy going nature.

My wife and I enjoyed the tour with the tour operator. He was very knowledgeable. we loved the wines and ended up placing an order with the winery.

I had booked a private vineyard tour with my partner for a day trip while visiting Toulon on our cruise. When I booked, it said we would be alone and picked up in a Land Rover. When we arrived, we were picked up in a van with 5 other people. When I spoke to Romain, he told me that he couldn’t do anything for the day as someone else had also booked the car alone. He tried to offer me something for another day but we were only there that day. To make matters worse, the passenger sitting in front of us both ways was car sick and vomiting. The visit at the vineyard was nice and informative and Romain did provide us with a lot of knowledge. I am glad that I did the tour as it was informative but disappointed as it was not what I had expected or paid for.

Spending the day with Romain, as we toured Bandol and the Domaine De L’Olivette exceede our expectations. His knowledge of the area allowed us to better understand an appellation that was not very familiar to us. Additionally, he was very accommodating of our delayed arrival and very generous with his patience. The vineyard itself was a fairytale experience, where we were able to learn more about what is required of Bandol wines and wines from this particular vineyard itself. Our visit included an unexpected surprise of spending some time with the owner, who was also very generous with his time and experience. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely add this experience to your visit to this region.
