Fantastic and thorough tour of Avignon. Helped us discover things about Avignon that we would never have learned without significant reading time or a much longer stay than the 2 days we had. Great overview of the city and helped us discover a great museum that we likely wouldn’t have found on our own. The only “glitch” was that (as stated in the description) if you were surrounded by thick high walls the blue dot that showed where you were on the downloaded map would disappear. Not a problem if you had been paying

My husband and I were in Avignon for just a day. This was defy the way to go. Informative talks at each stop about the history and each place as it is now. We even happened upon (due to the audio tour) a free museum with Egyptian and Greco-Roman antiquities. Fantastic! We did it at our own pace which is great with any medical issues or age related issues. I highly recommend this!

The audio guide is well-structured and guides you throughout Avignon, explaining every corner of the city very well. The only downside is that your location in the app does not update in real-time, and sometimes it is difficult to understand where you are in relation to the activity you are visiting.
Siamo molto contenti che l’audioguida di Avignone le sia sembrata ben strutturata e utile per scoprire la città angolo dopo angolo. Ci dispiace che la posizione nell’app non sia stata sempre aggiornata in modo fluido: a volte il GPS può essere un po’ capriccioso, soprattutto tra stradine strette e edifici storici. L’importante è che il percorso e i racconti l’abbiano comunque accompagnata bene durante la visita. Speriamo di ritrovarla presto in un’altra città con TouringBee — magari questa volta con un puntino GPS più disciplinato e 5 stelle piene.

I loved this tour. It was nice to be able to do at my own pace and the map was easy to follow. Was also able to see so much in such a short time
Good information about Avignon. But navigating from location to location is a bit tough. The app translated the monuments to english but Google maps still had them in french so when we were lost it was hard to figure out where to go next.
We’re glad the Avignon stories were useful, even if the navigation decided to add a little “French language exam” between stops. The app includes its own map and GPS navigation when location access is enabled, but we understand how confusing this can be when switching between apps. We hope that next time you try one of our audio guides in another city, the route feels smoother, the names behave better, and the experience earns a higher rating.
Excellent- can do at own pace- in any order-would be helpful if street names were included as directions not that clear- commentary excellent.
We really enjoyed having the ability to stop and start the audio tour over several days. The photos that came with each stop on the tour helped us make sure we were in the correct place.

A highly informative audio guide, which is strongly recommended. The walk could be taken at our own pace, with there was a welcome break on this very chilly day at the wonderful market at the half-way point of the tour.
