Zahra was lovely and took us to some lovely shops, the market, restaurants. The food and wine were very good.

This was perhaps the best tour we have ever taken. Zahra, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Honestly, it was as if we had known her for quite some time, rather than just having met her the morning of the tour. She communicated with us before hand to confirm our tour and answer any questions we had - her English is impeccable. The tour was laid back, conversational, and at a reasonable pace - which was greatly appreciated given the hotter than usual summer day; it was a leisurely three hours that was just perfect. I will say it ended up being only my wife and I so a tour group of two provided an extra intimate setting. The places she took us to and recommended were wonderful - and she advised us of the places to avoid or just be mindful of. She made sure to point out the historical aspects and little quirks that made Avignon unique and special. The food and wine she showed us (and we more than sampled) were exquisite - if you come hungry, you will not be disappointed. There was no pressure to patronize any of the businesses - we only bought two things while on the tour - but we came back later to some of the shops (especially for olives/olive oil and coffee) because we were so impressed. Finally, even after the tour ended, we could still reach out to Zahra with questions - she provided recommendations for dinner that met our preferences and that we happily chose. The price was more than reasonable for all we learned, ate, and enjoyed. Take this tour - you will not regret it.

Zarah did an outstanding job as our tour guide. We ended up the only couple on the tour which made it even more special. We stopped at great places, spaced out nicely. Highly recommend this tour. Be hungry, as food is amazing.

Zahra was phenomenal. We ended up with a private tour which was a nice surprise. The stops we made and the information she gave were outstanding. Our tour with Zahra was full of fun surprises and deliciousness. We had an opportunity to visit hidden gems in Avignon and to sample local dishes and wine we would not have discovered on our own. Zahra welcomed us warmly and by the end of our tour, we were great friends. I would definitely recommend this Food and Wine experience in Avignon.
