So much fun exploring the city of Pyrgos via a donkey! The donkeys were so gentile and the operator was patient and kind with the donkeys. The donkeys were clearly part of the family as our operator told us about each and we got to feed the donkeys after the ride completed. Fun experience that last 60 minutes.
Fabulous experience!!! Donkey handler very sweet and took lots of photos of us! The donkeys loved the carrots after our journey.
Mr. Manolis and Yanni were very excellent and awesome with all of their donkeys! The donkeys were super tamed and super sweet, and my family and I had a wonderful time. Lots of amazing pictures were taken and we loved seeing the views and the castle!

10/10 authentic tour that you will not regret! Such a nice experience and friendly guide. We got the chance to feed the donkeys carrots afterwards and got many chances to take photos!

The Authentic Pyrgos Village Donkey Ride and Feeding Experience was one of the highlights of our time in Santorini. Set in beautiful Pyrgos, it felt like stepping back into traditional island life. Mr. Manolis the donkey owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming. You can see how much he genuinely cares for his animals. The ride through the charming village paths was peaceful and unique, and feeding the donkeys afterward made the experience even more special and authentic. If you’re looking for something local, cultural, and heartwarming this is it. Highly recommended!
