Don’t be intimidated by the weather or driving the ATVS ,there easy to operate ,they have you drive a block or so to see if your comfortable operating it ,yes it’s going to rain ,they sell ponchos there for $4.00 ,this was one of the best parts of our trip ,it rained and your driving thru large muddy trenches ,and none of my family got any mud on them at all (they supply boots ) the guide is super informative about Hawaiian history ,he stops at different times to tell you the history ,i would highly recommend this trip ,6/24/2026
We took the Ohana Ranch ATV tour and it was an incredibly beautiful and immersive experience! Pono was our guide and he was so funny and informative. We especially enjoyed the conversations and stops along the way. The young lady that checked us in (didn’t get her name) was very helpful and friendly. We all had a blast! Definitely check this place out while on the big island.
Tour guides were super informative and kind! Got to eat some fruit along the way and learn about Hawaii’s culture

Definitely wear glasses to protect your eyes from the dust. Fun staff with fun knowledge of the island.

Good ATV experience with learning ecological history along the way. Wear the provided rubber boots the trial is muddy.
Our experience at Ohana Ranch was absolutely incredible! Rachel and Kalani were so welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to share their love for the land and made us feel like part of the Ohana from the moment we arrived. This was my first time ever riding an ATV, and they made the experience fun, comfortable, and unforgettable. The scenery was beautiful, the ride was exciting, and the hospitality was second to none. I would definitely come back and ride with Rachel and Kalani again. If you’re looking for an authentic, fun, and memorable adventure on the Big Island, I highly recommend Ohana Ranch! 🌟 Mahalo for an amazing experience! 🌟
It was a lovely time and the employees were very nice. This was the second time we did a ATV tour in Hawaii, our first was in Oahu at that ranch and it was hard to be objective at this one because the views can't be matched. It had a great learning experience though and the guides were very knowledgeable. The only thing I would mentioned as the ATV go very slow so that's a bit of a bummer.
