Lamar was our driver and unofficial city guide. Great personality. From Ocho Rios all the activities were within 20-30 min away. Horseback riding was a blast. It helped that we've been on horses before. No helmet though. You won't be on the animal long enough to need long pants. Got wet so avoid cotton socks or bring dry ones. Riding through the waves was awesome. Too bad we couldn't spend an hour but it was good for a short "taste". Guides were on foot and with you at all times (i forgot names for all the guides- sorry. My bad). The ATV activity was equally fun and equally too short. An added bonus was coming across ripe mangos. Picked up a few, washed them and enjoyed fresh fruit right on the trail! The final activity was a calm bamboo river raft cruise. Midpoint was a commercial stop for vendors. A little out of place. Those river guides work hard! The day was a blast. Just too short
Omar was a great guide for us as we enjoyed the excursions. His friendliness and familiarity with the guides had us in good hands.

Overall fantastic experience!! The entire tour was designed well. My 3 teenage sons and I were able to have a super fun adventurous time together! Highly recommend!

The actual activities are quick- driving takes the longest. Driver was pushy & encouraged us to tip & buy towels from specific store because if mess was made, expenses come out his pocket, not the company.

Each activity typically lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. We understand that the amount of driving involved may not have been what you expected, and we appreciate your feedback regarding the tour itinerary. We are especially concerned to hear about your experience with the driver. We do not condone pressuring guests for tips or encouraging purchases from specific vendors. Meka Tours was the best decision we made for offsite tour activities during our Birthday/Anniversary weekend. They made it memorable. The company is very professional, very responsive to accommodation, very timely, and transparent. They have great tour guides. OMAR was the BEST!!! He held great conversation, very knowledgeable about his country, compassionate and relatable to us a patrons. He made the day equally as memorable as the excursions.

Omar Omar Omar!!!! Omar made sure we had the BEST EXPERIENCE!!! He was very nice, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable! I wouldn’t want to tour with anyone else. He made sure my family had a GREAT TIME IN JAMAICA 🇯🇲. From the horses to the arc to the bamboo rafting, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! I wouldn’t definitely recommend 10/10!!!

Meka tours is the bomb . I was here in July in Montego Bay and booked with Meka and she was my driver and said anytime i come to Jamaica i was booking with her company . This time i came to ocho Rios and her driver Omar was so cool . He took great care of us ladies . We were with him for 3-4 days . Taking us to good restaurants , clubs and offering protection . I would book with Meka tours everytime . When you come ask for Omar to be your driver . He is a good time ! Can’t wait to come back !
