From beginning to end, our experience was absolutely exceptional. Theodore organized three incredible days of tours for us, complete with fabulous private tour guides and seamless transfers to and from the airport. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and his communication was top-notch. We always knew exactly what to expect, where to be, and when — everything was flawless. And then there was our driver, Kostos, who truly became like family during our time together. He was incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making our experience special. Along the way, he shared so many wonderful nuggets of information about Greece that we never would have learned on our own. Kostos was always on time, knew exactly where to take us, and somehow found the absolute best drop-off and pick-up points everywhere we went. He consistently went above and beyond to make every day easy, comfortable, and memorable. This wasn’t simply transportation and tours — it felt like having wonderful local friends taking care of us every step of the way. Theodore, Kostos, and the entire team exceeded every expectation. Our time in Greece was made so much more special because of them, and I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Truly, if I could give them 100 stars, I would!

We had a great tour visiting many historical sites along the way. We were able to experience 4 monasteries, excellent meals and accommodations. Our tour guide, Spyros, was very knowledgeable, respectful, a good driver and met our every whim. I highly recommend this tour with Exceptional Greece Tours.

We did a 2 day Meteora tour with Spiros and it was absolutely wonderful. We saw parts of Greece we would not have known to look for, at wonderful food at his suggestion, saw Meteora at sunset, and we're able to tour the monastaries on our own pace and with his helpful insider knowledge. He picked us up and dropped us off at our VRBO in Athens. The van was very comfortable and spacious; we very much enjoyed the surprise touch of a small car fridge stocked with much needed cold water. I have already recommended this tour to friends.

Spyros was exceptional he went above and beyond to make sure me and my family had a good time. We couldn’t have had a better day he was so polite and kind and made our trip all the more special.

We had a wonderful experience; our guide Kostas was very knowledgeable; he gave us lessons in Athenian geographical, political, social, economical, art, food, and religious history all while driving safely through the city! I couldn’t more highly recommend the experience.

Wonderful experience. my family only had one day in Athens after a cruise. We needed to get from the cruise port to the airport with all our luggage but wanted to see the major sites. We booked 8 hours and saw the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Temple of Zeus, Arch, University of Athens,…plus a wonderful gyro lunch. Kostas was a great guide.

We have just completed an 8 day private to northern Greece with Exceptional Tours and our experience was really “Exceptional “. Theodore was an excellent tour guide with attention to detail from hand picked hotel accommodation to restaurant recommendations. He is very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to make your holiday enjoyable. We were returning customers as we also did a 7 day tour in 2024 with Exceptional Tours. Theodore was absolutely amazing! He picked us up from the airport right on time, handled all our luggage, and got us to our hotel with zero stress. We didn’t have to lift a finger - he loaded and unloaded everything. As soon as we got in the van he had cold water waiting for us after our long flight. The next day he was waiting at our hotel to take us to every excursion. He drove us right up to the gates and already had our tickets, so we skipped every line. When we finished, he was right there where he dropped us off to take us to the next spot. I can’t imagine doing Athens without his service. It was the highlight of our trip. We consider Theodore part of the family now and we 100% recommend Exceptional Tours to all our family and friends.

Full day of Greek history and food. We rode in comfort and were kept hydrated all day. Exceptional!!!

We had a magical day touring the highlights of Athens! We saw all the amazing sights with a driver who became a friend, and an awesome, knowledgeable guide who accompanied us on the tours. Our van was waiting for us at the end of every experience with waters and friendly smiles!
